The two saddest for me are Lamont's death and the very end from the time you hear Al's voice eminating from the balcony of the theater right through 'til the end of their performance of "My Girl". It's a powerfully reflective part of the film that causes you to make yourself sad. A perfect ending...

The 2 guys in the truck shooting at everyone made me sick The ending was sad, I didnt want the movie to end. The part where Terron (Eddie) almost cryed speaking of that did Terron actually cry ?? his eyes looked wet. And I could see a few tears wet spots around his eyes when he sang "Just my imagination" he also looked like he was going to cry at Pauls funeral and espechailly in the hospital sceen when he told melvin "I have no sole melvin" And the shoting sound when paul shot him self in the car was crepy and sad. They all were good singers and wounderful people.

The saddest scene in this movie was when paul dies. :crying :crying I can't stand to watch it I usually leave the room now that I know better but when I first saw it.......oh how horrible. I also turn on the waterfalls when david dies because it was so horrible to be thrown out of the car in that way.

The part that i can't watch to this day is when "O" is on the porch with his mother. He has to face the fact that she has cancer. This is how my mom passed. The same look, the conversation, trying not to break down in front of her was to close to home. I remember calling my mother in Detroit from the boardwalk in Asbury Park New Jersey. She told me the doctors found a spot on her lungs. I chocked then asked her did the doctors use words like benign or malignant. When she said malignant, i completely lost it over the phone. When i finally made it back to Detroit and saw her, she tried to cheer me up. She didn't succeed. So whenever i rewatch the movie, i cannot watch that scene, it becomes a reality to me. It was so much that i wanted to do for her. I get emotional when i want to do things for people that i love. By May of 1991, she was gone. Situations like that is one of the reasons i sing with so much passion in my songs. Not great or outstanding, but passion. I have read posts about how Eddie had pitch problems, Terry was a mistake, PBS specials where GC didn't do so hot, songs on Legacy using drum machines and so on. Well, on my CD there is all of that; pitch, no pitch, off key, on key you name it, i'm guilty of it because i don't play any instruments, but i had to get out of my heart what was in my heart. Forgive me Y'all, i've gotten to personal. This is about the Tempts. The other sad scene to me is when Paul wants back in the group in his home and having to, in his mind, audition so to speak and do the moves that "He" came up with. Check out when they are singing shout at the beginning of the movie. As they sing, "a little bit softer now", David steps in front of Paul and kind of squeezes him out of the way to get with the other Tempts. If you notice, Paul's back is now turned slightly away from the group, and he's singing lead just as David is, but you only hear Ruff! That was a very prophetic scene. Same thing when "Eddie" is singing "Just My Imagination" on stage. The rest of the fellas look like they're all 6'5 and Eddie is about 5'8 and getting smaller until he just fades from the line-up. Subtle hints i would say. -Nate "Boomer"

I hate the scene when Paul is singing for once in my life. It is the oh my god the tears won’t stop sad but the wow that is really hurting my heart sad. Look at Melvin’s face he is about to cry he is so upset. Then when he doesn’t want O to leave the house without giving him and answer about letting him in the group.

The saddest part of the movie is at the very end when we see the Classic 5 perform My Girl. Why this particular scene? As you sit, watch, and listen. Robert Johnson plays those great guitar licks and David do his famous lead in, you know that 4 of those voices are silent from the world, only to be heard from the legacy of song that they left behind for us all to enjoy and remember them by. Faces that we will only see in videos, pictures, and album covers.Only the memories that we hold in our hearts and minds the first time we saw them perform is all that we have left of one the greatest vocal groups of all times. "The Temptations" TEMPTATIONS FOREVER
