Paul's suicide really gets to me the most because not only cause I loved him, but it reminds me of someone close to me who TRIED to kill themselves the ssme way

LOL, me too *sniffles* I hate it when Paul pulled that trigger. That noise, all alone, by himself, couldn't reach out for anybody!!!!!

Oh my gosh where do i begin that movie had me bawling like a baby i cried on Paul's breakdown when he was singing at the piano, at the scene just before melvin's death cause everybody was gone and Momma Rose said "what was it that got Edddie...that boy sure did love my corn bread" , also when Paul was showing Otis he still got "the moves" :-( i cried like a baby on Melvin's Funeral, and the final proformance like they were ghost. But hands down the absolute saddest part of the movie for me was Paul's suicide...i broke down so badly i was yelling at the T.V. Otis you didn't even try and help him you just threw him away like Alabama trash ...LOL! ( I really did) I even felt sad reading about the real Paul Williams. That movie is a true tear jerker for alot of people.

EBONY WROTE: I COMPLETELY AGREE. THOSE PARTS GET ME ALL THE TIME & OF COURSE THE PART WHERE THEY FIRST TIP THEIR CUPS TO EACH OTHER AND SAY TEMPTATIONS FOREVER AND WHEN THEY COME OUT OF THE RECORDING STUDIO FOR THE FIRST TIME AFTER GETTING SIGNED. AND OF COURSE OTIS MOM ON THE BALCONY SCENE BECUZ MY FATHER HAD CANCER ALSO AND THAT PART GOT TO ME SO BAD.
