The saddest part of the movie is at the very end when we see the Classic 5 perform My Girl. Why this particular scene? As you sit, watch, and listen. When Robert Johnson plays those great guitar line and David do his famous lead in, you know that 4 of those voices are silent only to be heard from the legacy of song that they left for us all to enjoy and remember them by. I see your point. But, I always smile at the final scene...the guys are alive again, young, healthy, a team! If it only could have lasted forever........... RIP...to the Temps who sing in heaven! ...my girl, my girl...

Thanks Tara for correcting me. Oh ok. I thought maybe I forgot his name. Or had it confused with someone else.

I'm really glad that Eddie's funeral takes place off camera! ...raindrops will hide my teardrops... Death is an accepted part of life but we will always have the voice that change R&B vocal groups style. In our hearts we can thank God for have given us the opportunity to have had him, Blue, Paul and David for only but a little while. In our minds, we will be able to visualize their faces and choreography and smile each time we put the cd or radio on. You think back to what you were doing the first time you heard that particular Temptation song. I guess William Smokey Robinson said it best; I'm Really Going to Miss you

I wont go on about it.. but I do remember exactly *s* I lived in the valley, a suburb of LA. My grandma lived in Watts. The music was different there! I know that the first Temp song I ever heard was My Girl, back in 1965. What I was doing was playing catch with a kid who lived next door to my grandma. His mom was playing the radio and...the rest is 40 years of fun. ...I've got a sweeter song...
