Now I realize you are using those as examples but it didn't take me hearing "No More" for even 10 seconds to realize that song was the jam. I used to manage a luggage store and I remember when I got my EOS set I took it to work to play and about half way in to that song we were the jammenist luggage store in town because I had the song cranked up full blast. LOVE that song! Conversly, I could listen to "Say You" a million times and still not like it. I've tried but I can never make it past about the first verse. Skip it every time.

You should listen to Say You all the way through because it is a beautiful song . I for one love it. Yeah anything is possible.......expecially if Eddie James Kendricks had not existed..... Glenn was the best first tenor....after Eddie, the "Master Tenor",as Glenn calls him. Love that Eddie

Yeah i agree, i think Eddie was the best 1st tenor, His tenor is at it's best when there's no instruments in the background to me, his acapella version of Silent Night is magical. But Glenn Leonard was a close second in my opinion. I had to vote for In A Lifetime, i think that's Glenn's best, but I enjoy the others as well.

I think when we are dealing with this ilk of singer (the highest of the high) the arguments for one of the other are a bit silly or can get a bit silly. In the end, these are great singers. That's the maturity over the 4 years since this was first posted. The whole point is that we all love the tempts and I love all the tempts (even GC).

I feel you when you speak of the maturity....because I can get real stupid when it comes to posting about Eddie..(LOL) but you are right they are the highest of the high, and with all said and done, they can all sing, some better than others........we all have different opinions, our taste do vary and we all have the right to like what we like.........
