i saw the episode in the mid 80's on nbc and they were
lost or had a flat so they neede to use the phone or something.
i also remember when gladys knight was on another episode and she was at a beauty parlor.gladys ended up singing for brenda.

I had taped that episode of the Tempts on '227'. I guess they would make better actors than singers, because their name is the TEMPTATIONS, and not the Dramatics, and Tempts do more acting than singing! I really liked Melvin on that episode.

They are making so many DVD box sets of old television series, I wonder if they are making any of the ones the Temptations appeared on.

Tempts were on 227? Aw man...does that even come on anymore. i know some shows like good times come on real early in the morning or real late at night

Ivory I taped the episode of 227 when The Temptations appeared the night it first aired. I promised ABA that I was going to find that tape so I can make a copy of it. Back in the 80's 227 was one of my favorite shows. They sung "Lady Soul" on that episode.  |
