"Isn't She Pretty" but you can hear him in the background doing his own thing in "Farewell My Love" and "Baby, Baby I Need You."
He still sang and dance with the rest... even if he didn't like showing off his dancing skills.
Another contribution to this thread... I miss old Saturday nights with the comedies on NBC... Golden Girls, Empty Nest, Nurses, Amen, 227... Now Saturdays stink! Paid programming all day long... boring dramas, awful movies... I'm not a sports fan so I hate that too... and where is everyone? [glow=black,2,300]GOT LIFE?[/glow]

do you remember the abc afterschool special?
elise found some used videos of a show we both watched as kids pretty regularly- it 's called
davey and goliath- a christian kids show with claymation type puppets (they did gumby too) sponsored by the lutheran church. davey 's a boy and goliath's his dog that only speaks to him.

It's still on here! There is a Christian station that plays them on Saturday morning. My daughter was watching it at Grandma's yesterday. Very cool to see it again! Peach

i really miss going to church in brooklyn with my sicilian grandma and the priest spoke in latin. then after we'd walk home, we'd go to the italian bakery and stare at all the cookies, eclairs, pastries, twisted breads with sesame seeds, and stella doro cookies.
it was fun to be a kid and eat like crazy!

who remembers going to the record shop and the man would play you a 45 record that you requested and then if you liked it you'd buy it! i was upset when the records went up to 35cents from 25 cents in 1966.the albums were 2.99 on sale at either korvettes or tss-which was times square stores.

Waxie Maxie's was my favorite as well, Aba ;D Then, of course, there were always those 'street vendors' who sold albums at 'discount prices' - if you know what I mean....

I think one store we had here had a guy who did that... or maybe you induced that memory...
