Kiss mine and I'll kiss yours back! You're talking to the wrong one when you mention "sexyness" and the Temptations. I do not find them sexy at all! You need to see the others who left,do a show. I knew that from your post.

Sexyness is just part of it.. maybe I should have said Suave-ness. What about the moves, the showmanship, the sound, the... ohh just the whole package! I have seen Theo.. thanks to the To'ps part of the show.. yep hes got it to.., and of course Ive seen Dennis.. not in the Review.. but he has some suave thing going on too.. I have only seen pics of Sea.. So I just have to go by what others say... but I do agree I have got to see the others too.. BTW.. what is Rchard with his cute little self doing these days, I can never find any info on him

To me the whole package is nowhere near what I've come to expect. That's what a revolving door will do for you. |

Judging by some video-clips of Tempts recent years performances what I`ve seen, I`ll have to agree with Mike here...Tempts aren`t even nowhere near the past times. Its only their name that is keeping them alive nowadays, if they`d change it to something else, things would get much worse for them... At least that`s what my humble opinion is.  |

Are your referring to that new Dvd? I thought it was so good.. that the next date im on.. if I really like the guy.. we're coming to my place and Im playing that DVD.. least a few selected songs of it.. I think they all did a great job on those videos. |

Do you like anything about the current lineup? Ron and GC. I think that this line-up got a raw deal when they were given the songs to "Legacy". I also think that the current group is good,but they are not given the chance to stand up on their own,sing the songs that THEY recorded..and not depend on the "Hall Of Fame" hits. The current members need to be able to show their talents and make a name for themselves. I mean,Theo is a great singer,but he ain't going nowhere singing Levi Stubbs' songs. Levi Stubbs cannot be replaced,Theo will not make a dent in Levi's spot. To me,he's wasting time with the Tops. They won't be making anything new with Theo singing lead,unless you think Otis will sign them to HIS label?   That won't happen. |

No, i`m reffering to some video-clips on the Ron Tyson site. I havent had a chance to see that.. I cant do it at work.. and this 56k it just takes too long.. maybe Ill try that again today.. and just let it run.. while doing somthing else so I can check it out. |

Well, the times have changed and this kind of music, what they`re making is not very popular today, so I can very well understand why they are not as popular as we would want..If they`d produce music like Backstreet Boys did, i`m sure number 1 hits would come. I enjoy the hell out of the old stuff.. that was my time.. and I know there are alot of other people that still like the old stuff.. but .. I do think the shows need a couple more recent tunes too.. but gimme that 60's 70's even 80's stuff and Im pretty happy. |

No,they don't call themselves THE TEMPTATIONS,the people who pay to see them call them THE TEMPTATIONS. Once they hear them,TEMPTATIONS just comes to mind. That don't mean Motown won't call them TEMPTATIONS,they own the name. :laughing |
