Case in point, I not once heard Justin Timberlake referred to as "former lead singer of N'Sync" on the Grammy's the other night .............. HE is an example of being FAMOUS as a lead singer and having an ENTIRE group rest on his vocal skills. AMEN!! (((MikeNYC))) I KNOW you read this!! :yourock:

You think that the group Justin was lead singer of to the group that Dennis was lead singer of,made the same impact in music? Try another, this is weak! Bandwagon people....LAST STOP !

To take it further, 'Nsync had two really good leads - Justin and JC Chasez. In fact, JC was the main lead at first because Justin' voice was still pretty squeaky and annoying to listen to. As Justin got older, his voice straightened itself out (thankfully!).

Try another, this is weak! Bandwagon people....LAST STOP ![/quote/] Pull those blinders off your eyes and see the point. The point is, you keep mentioning the fact that Dennis is a HOF'er, grammy winner. He did not earn a grammy on his own. Whether you like Justin Timberlake(I don't), or not, he proved that he could make it as a solo artist and has the awards(on his own) to back it up. Apparently, Mr. Timberlake made a significant impact on millions of people, without the (former lead singer of so-and-so moniker) Why can't Dennis give up the charade and do the same. If you still can't see the point, just use it as an example. He CAN be great without the Review and Tempts. He needs to get away from the poor management he has associated himself with and leave Hi-C management(wasn't that a fruit drink?) and seek the help of a legitimate record label, or start one of his own. The people that he is with are not helping his career or his cause. He is still a great talent, but grossly mis-managed and mis-used. I want to see Dennis do well solo...like a Teddy Pendrgrass. The one-hit wonder thing like "Don't Look Any Further" does not get it. Can Dennis "Look Any Further" than the Temptations?

Bad example...I see the impact that Justin made at the Superbowl...If I had blinders, which I don't,Justin's big rippoff opened them for me....like a baby's eyes open when he's about to be breast-fed! I think that you need to look a little further! OOH !

I don't believe too much of what O. says anyway ... after the book and the movie. D AS far as the movie is concerned, you know they always juice up the script for the screen, but they also do the same at the publishing house. To make sure they capture the readers attention and hold it. Not saying that it is always the right thing to do, but how many books have your read that you'd bet the farm every word is truth. Bottom line.. it's my autobiography, my life, and I will tell my story the way I want it told from the view I looked through. Or wish I'd looked through. :bonk:

Why ever inthe world would you want Dennis to stop making a living when in fact he is the only TRUE voice living that represents the Temptations? Just think about how SILLY you sound and SMALL you look in print for writing something like that
Dennis Edwards deserves to sing and perform as much and if not more than any one living and calling themselves a TEMPTATION.
The thing that is so disturbing to me is...This is a great forum for intelligent discourse and some how most of what I read here is insipid and disgusting.
Of course I believe in the first amendment. However, you and i know it is wrong to try destroy Dennis Edwards who will still be singing when everybody else is looking for work...that's the reward of greatness.

ARE YOU EQUATING N'SYNC WITH THE TEMPTATIONS...?please..not even if they were competing in the day could they ever be as fabulous...they are good at what they do and nice to listen too...but never in this century or life time will they ever compare to the Tempting Temptations in the worse of situations. LOL
