Where you from? I am originally from Gary, Indiana, but I currently reside in Minneapolis, Minnesota. How'd you find us? Through a google.com search for Temptations-related websites Why do you like the tempts? Need you ask?  LOL The steps, the style, the songs, the MEN (with the exception of OTIS. J/K  ) When/How did you get into the tempts? Well, I had been familiar with the music of Motown as a child with my mom always playing Smokey, the Supremes, or other Motown-related music. However, I didn't really get into the Tempts until I saw the VHS and DVD of the movie this year. So, I guess you could say that I'm a fairly new, more "involved" fan of the old school Temptations. Not really into the new school Tempts, no offense to anyone, but I am just ol' skool anyway...even at 29. Saved, born-again Christian for almost two years, now, happily, happily, happily married for almost one year now, no kids, no intentions on having any, work as a transcriptionist for an insurance company, one crazy calico cat, birthday is June 28, 1973.

 Hi folks, I'm tuning in through the goodness of a friend. I have been going withdrawl for the past few weeks. Moving and on vacation, I'm having PC reconnect issues. Something happend during the move that is causing the problem with my PC. AAAAAAAAAAAAAnyway I come to you as fan reborn both because of the music of the 60's and the Tempts movie. I always listen to the classics, and my boyfriend loves the stuff so it's just natural. I was only 3 when the group was heard by the world outside of the michigan area. So I really couldn't be a bonafide fan back then. But I loved them during the 70's. I was heartbroken whren Paul died, as I always loved him. Seing the movie just brought it all home again. I know this is not the format you wanted, but I've been disconnected for such a long time, I'm a little excited. HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII Eveerybody, welcome newbees.

How'd you find us? I was looking up Temptations stuff on the web and this by far is the coolest site in regards to the group.
Why do you like the tempts? They are the greatest Motown group and they are still here showing us why.
When/How did you get into the tempts? My parents. My first concert was The Temptations at the Kool Jazz Festival (Marvin Gaye was headlining)

song, i used to live in greeley -remember? in 1976 -1977. my best friend went to univ of northern colorado .
i didn't particularly like the smell of the feed lot or the monfort plant ,but it was a nice place .
i hung out in ft. collins, greeley, windsor, loveland, and went down to boulder,denver, etc.
nothing like estes park and those beautiful lakes as you hike up to hallett's peak!

I've been reading your posts for months and decided that it was time to join. I don't know how to do all the fancy things I notice from your posts, but I want to learn. ::)Why do you like the tempts? I don't know of a better group, past or present. The voices, the choreography, they have it all! ::)When/How did you get into the tempts? I grew up listening to the Temps. When I was 8, I remember begging my teenager brother to leave "Ball of Confusion" and "The Way You Do the Things You Do" to me in his will. After watching the movie back in 1999, my love for them blossomed all over again. ::)P.S. My favorite Temp is the one and only Eddie Kendricks. Love that voice!
