Where are you from?
- Trinidad, West Indies.
How'd you find us?
- Surfing all things Temptations; saw a reference to the site.
Why do you like the tempts?
- WHY? I have a "sweet tooth", and the TEMPTATIONS are Ear Candy, Eye Candy, and ummmmmmm Candy!!
When/How did you get into the tempts?
- Loved their music since early '60s; met them at a stoplight after a gig at the Apollo in '68. As they say, the rest is history.

Welcome to the board, PatJ. It's nice to see that you've gotten into the groove of posting. I know you'll like it here, because we all do. I'm a faily new poster myself and I must say that the people here are great. They are like a real temptations family.

i had a friend named nadia from trinidad and tobago. she was of indian descent. are you also with indian blood- lots of folks there seem to be from india. the british had indentured servants of india and i had a friend named mohammed also indian from TAHITI!
i used to vacation in aruba - trinidad is the very far east of the caribbean. beautiful beaches there!

Hello Everyone!!! I am a 19 year old college student from North Carolina. I feel so crazy because I am nuts over the tempts. I was searching online for different Tempt. sites when I found ya'll. I have been a Tempt fan since I was a little girl and my dad would play them over and over and over. I didn't appreciated it then, but I love them now. My dream is to meet Otis somehow someway since he is the last "original" Tempt. Well I guess I've told you guys what you wanted to know so if there's anything else, let me know.

You're in great company Zeta, and I see your father has great taste in music ;D. How can anyone not like The Temptations? Some members on this board have met Otis in person. They can tell you more about that. I hope you've had the opportunity to see them in concert. For now, you can enjoy many old film clips and cd's(albums in the old days) ;D.

I was born in white plains, new york. I've lived in philly for almost three years and now I live in Bronxville, New York.
How'd you find us?
I found the Temptinfo site is about 1999 or 2000. I saw this board maybe a year ago.
Why do you like the tempts?
I like the tempts because they maek the male voice sound good. they are truly the best soul singers in the game. Just great singer who have sung okay songs and made them great. I follow the ellingtonian concept. It's not the songs, but who is playing the songs.
When/How did you get into the tempts?
The Tempts have been an evolution for me. It started out from childhood and grew into what it is today. I'd say the thing that finally made me crazy for them was the pheonix rising album. After that album, I just kind said, this is the best group who has ever exisisted.

Hey everyone my name is Brandi I'm a new member well, I've been reading the posts getting a feel for the board  I'm from Baltimore md, I found this site through web surfing looking for info on one of the greatest groups of all times the Tempts. I love the tempts because those guys could sing and their music is great plus I grew up on it my parents played it alot when I was a kid I'm 24 now will be 25 in october. I'm oldschool to my heart I love real music I go back as far as Billie holiday,Nat king cole, Sam Cooke etc. |

welcome brandi! my dad is in st joseph's medical center in towson for the last 3 .5 months.
my folks live in harford county in havre de grace, where i graduated in 1975. my daughter lives in forest hill near belair. she's about your age -23.5 . she and my niece who;s the same age both are getting their masters from towson state, where they graduated in 2001.
my brother lives near frederick,md.
we have several others with maryland ties, including sugababy,tdallas, aba21 and kym.
happy to have you with us! we are family here! my daughter in md is also an october girl- the 8th.
