Dear Lord:
Every single evening
As I'm lying here in bed
This tiny little prayer
Keeps running through my head.
God bless all my family
Wherever they may be,
Keep them warm and safe from harm
For they're so close to me.
And God, there is one more thing
I wish that you could do.
Hope you don't mind me asking,
Bless my computer too.
Now I know that it's not normal
To bless a mother board,
But listen just a second
While I explain to you 'My Lord'.
You see, that little metal box
Holds more than odds &ends
Inside those small compartments
Rest so many of my FRIENDS.
I know so much about them
By the kindness that they give
And this little scrap of metal
Takes me in to where they live.
By faith is how I know them
Much the same as you
We share in what life brings us
And from that our friendship grew.
Please, take an extra minute
From your duties up above
To bless those in my address book
That's filled with so much love!
Wherever else this prayer may reach
To each and every friend,
bless each e-mail Inbox
And the person who hits Send.
When you update your heavenly list
On your own CD-Rom
Remember each who've said this prayer
Sent up to God.Com. Amen.

Okay how weird is this, I get ready-set-go to come here and aliens disconnect me. Could it be a sign that I too need to take more time to tell our GOD how much I LOVE and WORSHIP HIM? To study and learn about him so that I may be as close to him as I know I want to be but feel like I don't have time to be. But what if he decided he didn't have time for me (faster than the speed of light I would/could be no more) so how can I or any of us justify not taking the time to pray and study? The answer is, THERE IS NO ANSWER/JUSTIFICATION. We got to NIKE THIS THANG AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE, "I MEAN JUST DO IT!!!!" WILLINGLY, LOVINGLY AND SUBMISSIVELY!!!! GP (GOD'S PROPERTY/PEOPLE) ARE YOU WITH ME?? Here's a link to a nice page with some helpful reminders/motivation (((((IVORY)))))) of tools to help us along the way as we strive to lead healthy/rightgeous lives: www.promiseofgod.com/survival TOOTHPICK - to remind you to pick out the good qualities in others. - *Matthew 7:1 RUBBER BAND - to remind you to be flexible. Things might not always go the way you want, but it will work out. - *Romans 8:28 BAND AID - to remind you to heal hurt feelings, yours or someone else's. - *Colossians 3:12-14 PENCIL - to remind you to list your blessings everyday. - *Ephesians 1:3 ERASER - To remind you that everyone makes mistakes, and it's okay. - *Genesis 50:15-21 CHEWING GUM - to remind you to stick with it, and you can accomplish anything. - *Philippians 4:13 MINT - to remind you that you are worth a mint. - *John 3:16-17 CANDY KISS - to remind you that everyone needs a kiss or a hug everyday. - * 1st John 4:7 TEA BAG - to remind you to relax daily and go over your list of blessings. - *1 Thessalonians 5:18 *Relevant Scriptures Lord, thank You for loyal, loving friends Who are there in winter or springtime fair. New acquaintances are easy to come by, But true friendship is extremely rare. A friend always sees the best in you, Although they've known you at your worst. They laugh with you in the good times, When storms threaten, they'll be there first. They'll offer a shoulder to rest your head When tears are welling in your eyes. Take a walk down friendship's path with you And help chase away those stormy skies. Lord, thank You for all the gifts You give; Each one makes our life seem more worthwhile. But one of the finest gifts you've given us Is the warmth of friendship's loving smile.

here's a couple more primary songs for you to ponder- DARE TO DO RIGHT dare to do right, dare to be true, you have a work that no other can do do it so bravely, so kindly, so well angels will hasten the story to tell
dare to do right, dare to be true other men's failures can never save you stand by your conscience ,your honor ,your faith stand like a hero and battle to death
dare ,dare, dare to do right! dare, dare, dare to be true! dare to be true, dare to be true.
THE STILL SMALL VOICE
through a still small voice , the Spirit speaks to me to guide me, to save me from the evil i may see. if i try to do what's right, he will lead me thru the night, direct me, protect me, and give my soul His light.
listen, listen the Holy Ghost will whisper listen, listen to the still small voice.

LIFE'S TAPESTRIES... As I faced my Maker at the last judgement, I knelt before the Lord along with all the other souls. Before each of us laid our lives, like the squares of a quilt in many piles. An angel sat before each of us sewing our quilt squares together into a tapestry that is our life. But as my angel took each piece of cloth off the pile, I noticed how ragged and empty each of my squares was. They were filled with giant holes. Each square was labeled with a part of my life that had been difficult... the challenges and temptations I was faced with in everyday life. I saw hardships that I endured, which were the largest holes of all. I glanced around me. Nobody else had such squares. Other than a tiny hole here and there, the other tapestries were filled with rich color and the bright hues of worldly fortune. I gazed upon my own life and was disheartened. My angel was sewing the ragged pieces of cloth together, threadbare and empty, like bending air. Finally, the time came when each life was to be displayed, held up to the light, the scrutiny of truth. The others rose, each in turn, holding up their tapestries. So filled their lives had been. My angel looked upon me, and nodded for me to rise. My gaze dropped to the ground in shame. I hadn't had all the earthly fortunes. I had love in my life, and laughter. But, there had also been trials of illness, and death, and false accusations that took from me my world, as I knew it. I had to start over many times. I often struggled with the temptation to quit, only to somehow muster the strength to pick up and begin again. I spent many nights on my knees in prayer, asking for help and guidance in my life. I had often been held up to ridicule, which I endured painfully, each time offering it up to the Father, in hopes that I would not melt within my skin beneath the judgemental gaze of those who unfairly judged me. And now, I had to face the truth. My life was what it was, and I had to accept it for what it was. I rose and slowly lifted the combined squares of my life to the light. An awe-filled gasp filled the air. I gazed around at the others who stared at me with wide eyes. Then, I looked upon the tapestry before me. Light flooded the many holes, creating an image, the face of Christ. Then our Lord stood before me, with warmth and love in His eyes. He said, "Every time you gave over your life to Me, it became MY life, MY hardships, and MY struggles. Each point of light in your life is when you stepped aside and let ME shine through, until there was more of ME than there was of you." May all our quilts be threadbare and worn, allowing Christ to shine through... and May God bless you today and forever

"There are only four questions worth asking. What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is worth living for? and What is worth dying for? And the answer for all of these is the same. Only Love"
From the movie Don Juan Demarco

hooray! my puffbaby's back home! where she belongs in our loving arms! today i had the opportunity to go in the neighborhood and pair up with a missionary and visit less active folks and invite them to drink from the waters of Christ again and come back to the fold and attend church, it was good to pray with them and tell them we love them. afterwards we went down a local little side street and knocked on doors and passed out pictures of the Savior to one young man and handed out God's holy scriptures to another man. i love going about the Lord's business!
