True, I agree. Certainly would've caught a few more peoples attention then. Though, I personally think everyone did a wonderful job & wouldn't replace anyone. Howevre, some people just crazy & need to see a big stars name be4 seeing something =)

hmm ...your quite sure that was all on Otis huh? You must know something that we don't? Personally "I" don't know more then some of the *WE* in here, I certainly know more then when I first started.. but most in here have read other threads that are very enlightening as to the book, the movie, who did what..such as The rights to making the movie were sold.. Yes, Otis name appears as producer, but I can guarantee he wasnt there in person for the whole production, with the Tempts schedule it would have been impossible, they may have asked his advise on some scenes. There is also something called artistic enhancement or something like that for entertainment value. If the movie was to show the whole complete life of the Tempts it would be alot longer then 2 hours.. it would probably be a 6 month long series . Also the credits say: The preceding dramatization is a fictional account inspired by actual events. There is alot more information on various threads from members in here that are much more experienced then I in the inner workings of movies, music business, being a celebrityand in the public eye and what they go thru and of the Tempts themselves... and to quote Ivory: Ok, I finally pulled out the video and it says, in the closing credits, just what I thought it said.....
The preceding dramatization is a fictional account inspired by actual events. I don't know how they could have been any clearer than that. Again, if someone watches the movie and is dumb enough to think that it is the gospel truth it's not the movie's fault ........... it's the viewers.Please.. spend some time reading past posts.. you'll find out soo much about the Tempts your head will spin! You'll both find out more then you probably wanted to ever know or ever wondered about. Its very interesting. I'll try to take some time and see if I can browse thru some of the threads and post them here that I thought were very informative and in some cases very agumentative.. .. and this topic has been talked about over and over and over and over and over again.. soo do some reading or skimming over of previous posts.. have fun.. *s*

Right on, Coey. I wonder about people. The words "The preceding dramatization is a fictional account inspired by actual events" seems pretty clear to me.
And that's what all movies are and all books. No matter whether it says non-fiction or fiction. Non-fiction is the writer's interpretation of events. But then it's true of all of us. We see an accident. We report what we see, but if ten people report it, there will be ten different reports.
Get with it, people.
By the way, I've discovered on what records you can actually hear Al's voice. It's a matter of research over the years. Is anyone interested? Or is everyone happier believing whatever it is they want to believe?
