No, I don't put it all on Otis, love that man!! And I don't blame him, guess I had bad wording....but I still do think they coulda had that tiny family detail in the movie. I've read the threads & have found out so much about the Tempts, its insane!! No my head didn't spin...thank God cause that'd just be freaky....& I HATE "The Exorcist", lol. I know it was "Based" on actual events & they had a creative liscence & what not. If it wasn't for the mini-series I probably still wouldn't know who The Tempts are though(I'm a deprived child),lol. So when I first saw it, not knowing who they were & never hearing any of their songs but "My Girl" & "Get Ready" I bought every bit of the movie, I would've sworn it was all true.....thank goodness for the internet!! Now I know the truth about most the topics on the Tempts =) How did I ever live without them?! As for if they had put more details in which woulda made it longer then 2 hours.....man I love the mini-series for what it is, love it to death but they could've made it 6 hours long, 6 weeks long, 6 months long & I still woulda watched it!!!!!!!!!! =D

Al on MEET THE TEMPTATIONS:
Al and Eddie sounded so much alike that you need to know on which songs; however, Al did not have any BIG leads.
Al's high tenor can be heard right after Melvin's introduction on "Farewell, My Love."
As everyone guessed, it is Al who sings the "Why?" on "Isn't She Pretty"?
Melvin does not sing on "I Want a Love I Can See" but Al and Eddie do. Paul's voice is easily identifiable; you have to listen hard to differentiate Al and Eddie in very short phrases or single words.
Al is also present on "Check Yourself." Otis is the first singer.
I think the best and easiest way to hear Al is when he alone sings in a high tenor after Melvin's intro on "Farewell, My Love."
Everyone knows that Al is singing on all the songs except "The Way You Do The Things You Do" on the MEET THE TEMPTATIONS album.
I think when you have several words, a phrase, a bridge or outright lead, it is easy to identify Eddie. But with just one or two words it is more difficult.

I would'nt have loved the Tempts, so much as I do now if I had'nt seen the movie....... I never fully believed everything in the movie in the first place, so it aint a big surprise to me on some of the things that I found out.
