Otis' Wife in the movie has starred in Soul Food the movie, and Showgirls, Christian Payton starred in Hoodlums with Lawrence Fishborn (sp?) I seen "Otis" in another movie before but i forgot the name. alot of people in this movie were in other movies. so they were not "unknowns" until this movie. ;D Otis was in a movie with Arnold S. and one where he played a football plyer aswell

.. i have a shameful tempts movie history... when the movie first came on t.v. my friends in the days before were talking about it.. me? "I" didn't want to see no movie bout some old group .. so i went on about my merry way.. and didn't watch the movie.. my friends came back all talking about it.. and i still wasn't interested.. time went by.. my 12th grade year i became madly in love with stevie wonder.. which opened my interest to older music and motown.. soo.. fastforwarding.. to my christmas break in my first year at college.. i had been wanting to see the movie.. so i comes home for christmas.. and my friend has the tape.. i watched.. and i enjoyed.. IMMENSELY!! from then on.. everytime it came on vh1.. i was there.. eatin it up and lovin it.. *side note*.. (being the paul lover that i am it wasn't his character that i took to at first .. i always talked about the dennis character.. cause he was... cute ;D)... later on christian overtook me .. his moves and all that good stuff mm mm.. anywho.. i fell in love with.. paradise and i just had to have i wanna love.. so that's what got me into buying the tempts music.. thought that was all i needed.. but since i enjoyed christians "foiml".. i was like i bet the real paul tore that up.. and sho nuff he did.. i bought a tape that had it on there.. i went crazy on the net trying to find out info about the real tempts and so on and so on.. i became crazy over them.. didn't too much have anyone to run my mouth to about them.. soo.. here i am.. ;D .. and im working overtime trying to get all the tempts merchandise i can... books, performances.. anyting..

ThreeT,
you'e right on target. The movie-Dennis was indeed handsome. But the real Dennis was (and still is) too. What do you think?

I thought the movie Dennis was too stiff. He wasn't cool and jovial.

He looked quite natural to me. And of course, his role had to be somewhat subdued. The producers were probably not so sure how far they could go ...
