I don't know, but I sure don't remember seeing a puppy. I was trying to figure out if it was a joke. I have the tape in my VCR, maybe I'll go check it out!

DB Woodside talks about going to the dogs Associated Press
"The Temptations" was one of the highest-rated miniseries ever to grace network TV and it featured what is likely one of the best ensemble casts we've seen in quite some time. One of the members of this extraordinary ensemble cast is DB Woodside, who played the sweet and lovable bass man Melvin Franklin. But there's another one you might have missed. He comes in the person of "Ogden", the eight-month old brown and white hound puppy that lived with Otis' mother, Haze. Strange though it may sound, if you speak to the cast about him, he may very well be the breakout of the miniseries.
"He was just incredible", says DB. "I have never seen that kind of preparation from anyone - let alone a dog".
"In the scene involving Christian and me in Haze' house, he was given free reign to do whatever he thought was appropriate. After a few minutes pacing the floor, he barked at Alan [the director] and immediately, we started shooting".
The way he paced the floor and sadly walked over to his water dish just about stole the scene from his human counterparts. "Yeah, an actor of that calibur can make it real hard for the rest of us to do our jobs. There are takes and takes of that one scene where Paul is singing and I'm playing where we couldn't help ourselves from stopping what we were doing and watching him. Ogden understood, though, and took it all in stride. In the end, he kind of had to play it down so we could concentrate".
Even at only eight months old, he already possessed a string of successful commercial appearances and even a soap opera cameo. "Yeah, this little guy's been around already. He's had more gigs than I've had!", DB laughs.
"I just know it was a pleasure to work with him. His skill level is unparalleled and he really feels the part. There aren't many canines out there that can do what he does".
Ogden is a fast-track graduate of NYC Tish and has also done graduate studies at Yale - where Ogden and DB first met. "Yeah, we kind of came up together. I truly learned so much about subtelty from him. Just one slight nose twitch from Ogden can tell convey a myriad of different thoughts and feelings. Truly a pro".
If Ogden's exciting work in "The Temptations" miniseries is an indication, we certainly haven't seen the last of little Ogden. Keep your eyes peeled" -Aristotle Piccolo
Sorry it took me so long to post this. I had to sit here and retype the whole thing from the article and it was a bit of a pain. I hope you enjoyed it!

I think he has a cameo in the matrix Fantastic little animal to be sure. His acting style is very Benji-esque with a little Woody Allen subtelty thrown in. If I see him in anything else, I'll post it here. Ed
