It's hard to ignore little Ogden. He's such a talent. The fact that certain individuals think his appearance in the movie was nothing but a joke is really pretty offensive. You try to drink from your water dish with the same subtelty and see if you can do it better than Ogden. I think not!

Okay, forget about the imaginary puppy! But, whoever said "Smokey Sucks" should be put in a 4 by 4 cubicle with no doors or windows & be forced to listen to 'those bug people' sing 'I wanna Hold your Hand' for a week or two! Then, They may Realize Exactly What Everone else knows; Smokey is The Best American Living Poet!

Yes! 'those bug people'! They can't dance! They Can't Sing! & They Certainly CAN'T Dress! The 1st time they were on 'Ed Sullivan', they had on White Socks with Dark Suits, Long Hair, Hook Noses, & ABSOLUTLY NO TALENT! To add insult to injury, I had asked for 'Motown's Greatest Hits' album for Christmas. Christmas morning I got 'the bug people' album! My Mother said, "Don't You Remember those nice young men on the E.S, Show? That killed Santa for Me that Year! I saved my $ & bought 2 'MGH' albums, in case 1 broke or chipped! Anyone want the '1st bug people' album still unwrapped? I swear It scarred Me for Life! You Can't Dance to That 'Whatever' noise! Thank You So Much for Letting Me get That Out of My System! Sorry for the 'OutBurst'! BTW, I Really dislike Bugs; & Please Don't Even Ask About those slimmy slithering things!

Really, Nora, I think I've zeroed in on your problem. You spend entirely too much time beating around the bush. It's always better to tell others how you feel. Just spit it out, girl!
"Hook noses and absolutely no talent"...LOL!!!

I think all of the guys were good in their own way. however i'll go the Leon/Christian route because they were the ones who had me in stitches, especially, Leon.
I was sad when i saw Christian playing Paul when he became an alcoholic because Paul was an integral part of thir sound and his lead was great like Daves, only slightly under. But hearing him sing out of tune and the Papa was a Rolling Stone scene.....that wasn't a laughing matter to me at all. that was a tragic downfall of a very talented guy in Paul williams. and even though it's a movie it just goes to show what alchoholism does and it should be a lesson to us all not to let something like undermine what you set out to do with your life.
I'm just glad it was a movie and that Christian really didn't off himself or be like that cuz he is a talented cat and can sing lke a mf!

Leon and Christian. The Temptations was one of the best movies I have ever seen. Ever one in the movie did a great job.

Leon nailed Ruffin. But I like Leon anytime. I was totally feeling Christian, his singing dancing and acting. He was on the money.
Didn't care for Terron's singing but he had a pretty sexy speaking voice.

As I sat driving along in my car listening to "Your My Everything" & My Girl, I felt the sudden urge to watch the movie. The only other footage I have of this song is on video, and my machine is on the fritz. They acted their behinds off in this movie. They did an excellent job with the material they were given, whether you like the content or not, they did an excellent job. I concede, Paul was smaller in his younger days but I would've made an exception myself.

My opinion has not changed. Ogden is still the best thing going. I watched the movie again today and I was disarmed anew by Ogden's impressive performance. It will remain with me always.
