The best actor in the movie. Obba Babatunde. Well, he certainly has the most-fun name to say.

My favorite actor is Christian who played Paul. I really think the role he played was real good! Keep on doing the good work Christian and rest in peace Paul!

Add me to the list of people who thought Christian was just amazing. He added a depth and complexity to Paul that was just incredible. The scene where Otis comes back to visit Paul at his home when Paul tries to convince Otis to let him return to the group required some incredible acting from both of them because the scene required subtelty. Both Charles and Christian delivered there - big time. Very well done.
My favorite scene of Christian's, though, will always be the scene where Paul sings "For Once In My Life". What a powerfully moving scene! Christian was the focal point of it but the ensemble acting was also just great. DB's reactions were first-rate and Paul's wife played it just perfectly.

I thought that little puppy did a fantastic job. The way he subtely just turned his head and started sipping from his water dish just brought me to tears. I thought he was very underused - which is a shame because there aren't many dogs that age that can do what he/she did.

I knew you were a man who knew fine acting. I think the dog went to the NYU Tish school's department for canine actors.

Really? Given Ogden's (that was the dogs name) emotional performance, it seemed very Yale-esque. In a review I saw not too long ago, DB mentioned that they'd improv'd together on quite a few occasions.
I don't know how long Ogden's been acting but it just looked like he was really "living" that moment, you know? It was just uncanny.

I just found that article where DB talks about the acting range of Ogden - that's how I discovered for myself that Ogden is indeed a "he". Give me a few minutes and I'll post it. It's worth reading as it was quite insightful as to just how truly gifted Ogden really is.
