Mike - I completely missed the Douglas Scott thing. Add him up there. While I'm at it, I should probably mention SYREETA, who has such a gorgeous voice, as well as JJ Barnes, Leroy Hutson, Lorraine Ellison, Brenda Holloway, Mary Wells and the lovely honey-voiced Barbara Jean English. To my wishy-washy name-switching friend - thanks. I like my list too.

The rest of them are trying to guess which Whisper twin he is! :laughing

I didn't know that douglass scoot was one of the whispers twins. I thought it was walter and wallace. Isn't douglas scott from the persuaders? maybe I am getting him confused. He didn't sing with the whispers. I'm gonna have to call in the reinforcments on this one. Cuz you got me stuck.

Enlighten me on Douglas Scott. The only Scotts I'm aware of are the Scott twins from the Whispers. Cheech said it...The Persuaders..."THIN LINE BETWEEN LOVE AND HATE"...."LOVE'S GONNA PACK UP"....."PEACE IN THE VALLEY OF LOVE"...Also,the first to record..."YOU'RE THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME". Douglas Scott was the lead singer....half brother of James Brown. Douglas Scott could blow with the best of them.Especially "LIVE",he put heat on many acts at the Apollo. So did Clarence Burke Jr.,he was no slouch, either! He also had good songwriting skills.
