:DHey, Hey, Wait a minute !!!!!! Sammy Davis Jr. ain't no soul singer!! I consider him a pop singer or adult contempory singer. How can he rate as a soul singer. He was a great entertainer, if you like that sort of thing. But listening to The Candy Man or I got to be Me just ain't my thing

He was a great entertainer, if you like that sort of thing. But listening to The Candy Man or I got to be Me just ain't my thing I did say that we could put not traditional soul singers up there. And plus, Sammy David Jr. was one of the silkiest soul singers I've ever heard. You just gotta hear the right stuff to hear that good old soul music. But Sammy sang jazz and he did it great and he was very soulful and gave great soul renditions. Don't let the popular songs fool you.

I think we need to schedule a crisis intervention...<g> hey, i can't everybody up there. but you said i didn't put aretha, but i did put her on there. And yes, Donny goes up on my next 10. now johnny taylor is great, but if i put everybody you wanted put there, i would have loke 3,000 people. i chose only 25. look at it this way: if this list were on vh1, you'd have ja rule, j.lo, brandy and people of that sort on the top 25. but since i know you will be making a list, ther should be no inequities. and by the waym you know prince is the hottness.
