Yeah, Johnny Gill. He made the New Edition a very credilble adult group. He sings with a lot of passion and soul. He was very good as a solo artist. He has a lot of of Temptation-like sound in his voice. He works very well with Gerald Levert and Keith Sweat in LSG. Listen to the opening of "Can You Stand the Rain" and I hope you will agree with me.  |

I remember reading somewhere that Johnny Gill was having a hard time getting a recording contract, because most labels considered him too old. My guess is that he's in his mid to late 30's, 'cause he is a little older that the members of New Edition. Do you have to be old enough to qualify for Social Security Retirement to pass the age requirement to be a Tempt? What happened to TALENT and SOUL? ??? |

Is he older than the other members? I didn't know that. I thought that he was about the same age. Well, if Johnny was a member of the Tempts, I wouldn't miond at all.
