I've always had very vivid dreams on a number of subjects, but occasionally I'll have one about the Tempts. And I had one last night........
This one was kinda short, but I was at an outdoor concert that was also a picnic. It was one of those Tempts and Tops shows with both groups. Pretty soon the Tempts were singing and I looked across the aisle and there was Theo (THEO! THEO! THEO!) in the audience. He was just out there enjoying the show.
It came time for them to sing "My Girl" and there was Theo, standing in the front row like he was was Joe Blow just belting out the song! I went over to him and took his hand and said, "you don't know HOW badly I wish you were up there singing that song!"
He just looked at me with this puzzled expression and said, "thank you."
Anyone else have any Tempts dreams? Clean ones only please, this IS a family board.

hey ive'- do you know why theo was sitting in the audience in your dream ?  it's because his family was there with him so he had to sit among the PEOPLES!!!! LOL!!!  |

I had a Tempts dream a couple of years ago. In my dream, I was going to hold a Tempts themed party, so I went to the store to look for napkins, plates, etc...and they all had the Tempts on them! Can you imagine? They even had Temptations dolls, Classic Five and Dennis. At the end of the dream, the Classics plus Dennis were onstage singing "My Girl". I believe everyone had their own microphone, but David and Dennis were sharing one and I think they were also eating blueberry ice cream. I can't remember exactly how the dream went, but I posted it on the Temptations Forever website, in the "Dreams" section. [/COLOR][/B]

ivory, i had the wildest dream two nights ago! i dreamt that i was in a school hallway and i was talking to a young white british man named billy-he had short blond hair and was going to be the first white dude in the tempts! well, i said if you can do it billy, i can do it too! i raced ahead of him and went backstage. the auditorium was bare- only 8 curious people standing in the gym with no chairs and the tempts were on stage . bo put his arm around me as i felt confused and he whispered to me -now go forward like this and do a half bow! we were 7 people -5 tempts and 2 white guys. the people didn't applaud. i said to bo, what happened to the crowd-he said t o me- well, it happens sometimes-we get bad publicity.
then i was walking down the street with ron tyson and i said to ron, do you know my bro aba? -ron said to me -yep, he's my dear brother . i've known the big fella for quite a few years. i said, way cool ron, then i woke up!

ivory, i AM on this board too much! i had another dream - last night- it was that you came over to visit me and the family in san marcos and stayed for one hour - you brought dbaby and her dad-and you had pigtails and brown hair- and as soon as you flew in you said -i'm only staying for a minute-i have to get back-and my mom was there too and we were all watching tv from under the kitchen table and dbaby was looking for her dad who went into the back yard-then you saw how nice it was and you said it sure was embarrassing landing in san diego and having winter clothes on and everybody's got shorts and sandals......... i wish i was making this stuff up!  |
