One thing I will never do is knock MJ's talent. But I did not become a fan until he stopped yelling at his teammates on the floor and started sharing the ball. It was then that I began to compare him to Dr. J. When he began to win I gave him the nod because of his jump shot. But he was no more no less exciting than the Doctor.

They left Bob McAdoo off and put the Diesel on. Explain that. And Doo had TWO rings and MVPs and scoring championships, most of which the Diesel didn't have yet.
I like Scottie because he did a lot of the dirty work. He would run the offense, plus do things on the defensive side. Phil would pick him up in a second, if he could.
Wilkens wouldn't give up his game for the team. The Hawks should've gone to at least one Final. That makes him behind Big Game James in my little opinion.
Kim, I agree about how Worthy's injury affected the Lakers. There is NO WAY Cliff Livingston could stay with a healthy Worthy. In game 1, MJ couldn't stay with him. He had a great series against Portland, but hurt his ankle. Jeez, I would've played Eldon Campbell more, he added spark to that team during the Finals.

You're right SS...Big Bob won as many Scoring Titles as the Iceman and more championships.
i don't know that Wilkins knew how to give up his game. He was a scoring machine. No knock on him but his game never showed the side where he was a good passer or set-up person. He was a scorer pure and simple

bob mcadoo still holds records for the clippers franchise which was originally out of buffalo.
hey, mikey, the SIXERS lost another road game to the lowly golden state warriors,104-98! they ended the game with an unsportsmanlike technical! it should be the sixers-they noiw have lost six in a row on the road! 13-2 at home, 5-10 on the road.
ABA-NETS ROLLED OVER THE CAVS- 13th straight home win!
jailblazers won 8th in a row!
the bricks(knicks) shocked the spurs -96-95. the bucks shocked the mavs-110-107 in dallas!
the heat are heating up- they won again and now have 6 of last 8! how about jordan-vs-mcgrady-tmac had 32, but mj had 21,8,and 9. and mj signed a pair of AIR JORDANS for tmac who said he'll look at them everyday!

SS I must agree with you on that one. Who was coaching the Lakers that series. Was it Mike Dunleavy?? I always liked Worthy because he was a hustler and he never gave up even if he was having an off series he still hustled on the court and he didn't get down on himself. Now my man Byron had a problem with that but after the 1988 season he seemed to shake the dust off if he was struggling and kept shooting!! ;D ;D ;D
ABA I agree with you about MJ I will never knock his skills but he just never impressed me because let's face it the Doctor created that style of play Clyde, MJ, Dominique, and all the other brothers after them just followed the Doctor.

Mike Dunleavy coached the Lakers against the Bulls. Phil Jackson could always outcoach Dunleavy.
Byron used to get grief, after the second Pistons series where it seemed he wasn't the same player.
But of course, all great small forwards must first pay their respects to the great, now underrated by many(that is unbelievable) Elgin Baylor.

my bad! riley left in 1990! dunleavy did coach 1991 much to my chagrin. i liked rambis better than dunleavy. and riley would've won the championship with the lake show. del harris also wasn't the choice.
