LOL. Truth Man, I have to admit I have a soft spot for the Sixers, but there are a few better teams.

hey mikey, the sixers beat the clippers! the clippers did help by missing 13 free throws out of 28! yuk!
you got a road win! yay!
my man elton brand had 21 points, 10 boards and 4 more blocks! olowakandi had 5 blocks- but brand was 5 for 13 on the charity stripe, and odom was 2 for 10 ! yikes!

my bad! riley left in 1990! dunleavy did coach 1991 much to my chagrin. i liked rambis better than dunleavy. and riley would've won the championship with the lake show. del harris also wasn't the choice. But West liked Del Harris. Harris' problem is that he had too much talent and no way to coach them.

i like mikenyc better than i like my lakers or clippers! i definitely like mikenyc better than the iverson man!
aba and mike- what do you think about john stockton-career avg 10.6 assists per game, 13.2 ppg, 2.2 steals per game, 83% free throws per game, 51.6% career percentage for a point guard, and one year he was at 57%!!! his career 3 pt % is over 40% 8 of the last 12 yrs!!! iverson the ball hog takes twice the shots but is only averaging 38.9%! he has a 75% free throwing %, his 3 pt % is around 31%, and he has 4.4 assists per game this season, career 5.5. iverson has never played a full season, yet stockton has played 82 games 15 seasons of 18!
iverson's a scorer, but stockton's a shooter and a passer . tha answer! at 41, stockton still is going strong!

mike, you are my pick for defensive person of the year! because when i showed you their stats , you went on the defensive right away!
i'm not attacking you! i'm presenting facts! you can still be an I-3 fan! no skin off my nose! but in my opinion, based on the stats, only iverson is better in points per game-27 to 13 over stockton. everything else shows john has higher averages or equal. and duration. and john also drives up the middle and gets fouled like crazy-times 19 yrs!

I think that "Showtime" could beat the "Lakeshow" any day!!! The "Lakeshow" has a deeper bench however "Showtime" 6 and 7 and 8 man were more versatile and by far a bigger threat on the court.

Assuming Robert Horry as a starter, the current Lakers have NO bench player as good as Michael Cooper, let alone Bob McAdoo or Mychal Thompson.
