kobe would be a big loss, but shaq would still block shots, alter shots, can score 40-50 points,and block up the middle, dish off, or rebound. kobe can't do as much of the rebounding and shotblocking and he doesn't have the extra 6 inches and 100 lbs.

well, shaq sat out, but kobe scored 52! had 3 blocks, 7 assists and 8 rebounds. lakers beat houston 106-99, and are tied for the 8th spot in the playoffs with 30 left. shaq isn't playing tomorrow against utah, so i epect it 'll be tough for the lakers to beat them, but shaq's back on friday.

what a night for basketball! kobe has 40 again, and the lakers take over 8th in the playoff race as houston falls to the mavs. 8 straight 40 point games!
tracy mcgrady had 52, and jamal mashburn had 50, and michael jordan had 43! iverson had 41!
whew!
stevie's team wins back to back games and stevie had a steal, 2 free throws, and an assist. stevie's team beat torrey pines high tonight, which is 24-5 and has some big players. san marcos high is in the playoffs! we start next week!

Hope they make it to the top! ;D
I'm happy to see Michael score so well. As well as the others, but that's usual, most of the time.

seems like kobe is the only one this year that's consistently scoring 40 every single game.
tmac=30.6, kobe 's is now 30.4

stevie is 5 foot 8 and 125 lbs. he's a backup point guard and an occasional shooting guard. he's a defensive specialist, can force turnovers, steal , and is pretty quick. he's a fantastic dribbler, and as they say in b-ball lingo, he can break your ankles. he's got a nice little shot from 18-20 feet out, which he pops for a 3. he also is the top free throw shooter in his school. last year on jv, he did a charity fundraiser for 5 hours of freethrow shooting-he made 774 out of 1000. this year in practice he made 99 out of 100. unfortunately my genes did not overpower his mom's 4 foot 8 genes, although he's a lot closer to my height than elise.

kobe sure was zoned in on 40 last night- to the point that he almost blew his team's game. kobe apologized for his selfishness.

I'm with you Aba (except for the whole Nets thing). Guess Mike's just drunk with confidence for his favorite team. Mike, I'm gonna hate to see the Sixers get put to end this year, but believe me, its gonna happen!

well, mike has a right to be proud-the sixers have won six in a row( is that why they're the sixers?) and they have passed boston and are closing in on first place-where new jersey is struggling in their last few games. philly got bad news that their center todd maccullough is out for the season and may not ever play again with nerve damage. it is interesting to note that dikembe mutombo who was traded for maccullough has also not played due to injuries. only keith van horn has worked out from that trade. the lakers were in last place in their division, 8 games below .500, and now they have gone 19-6 since then, to be in 3rd in the division, and in 7th position for the playoffs currently. you gots ta believe in yo' team! truth man does!

well, stevie's team played la costa canyon who's starting point guard is 6ft 5 and ours is 5ft 6. their center is 6 ft 8 and forwards are 6ft 7 and 6 ft 5
they had 2 guys on the bench over 6ft4
our starters are 6ft4center, 6ft5 power forward, 6ft2 forward,6ft2shooting guard, 5 ft 6 point guard.
we hung with them in the 1st-23-21 was their lead. we led at 28-26. then they hit 6-3pointers and we had 5 straight turnovers and we were behind 39-31 at halftime. then we completely collapsed after that as they were up 83-44, then they put stevie in, and he played 3 min, sat ,then played the last 40 sec. we lost 91-55. it was a heartbreaker, since the kids were so disappointed. after wards, i took stevie, james, cheski to cold stone creamery and loaded them up with comfort food-ice cream!
