we get up for the good teams, but we barely beat and sometimes lose to the bad teams that everyone else kills.

mike your loyalty is admirable. my other team is the clippers, and i have seem them have few things to smile about over the last 19 yrs i have followed them. they are 6 and 18 in the last 6 weeks so i don't see the clips doing anything different other than getting another draft pick.
aba, new jersey looks like a strong contender to repeat as eastern conference champs.

I think he'd make a good candidate but I dont think they're gonna pick him this year. He did play well though. Nice number of points, some assists, and a couple of steals. And nobody better call him a ball hog, cuz I was impressed with how considerate of others he was being tonight!

east and west played very good ball- it was mj's missed shots that cost the east .
yao ming starting was a travesty. shows you how little casual fans know.yao had 2 pts. shaq had 19 with 13 boards. iverson 35 pts, and kevin garnett had 37. defense obviously doesn't count in the all star game!

I don't think MJ's missing shots cost the East their win, because I'm sure he's not the only one who missed shots.
Yao didn't do much in his 17 minutes of playing time, I definitely agree with that. But fans like to be included, casual or not, so them voting for him to start wasn't that big a deal to me. Plus, I voted for him twice. ;D

mIKE didn't coast them the game.....it called too big. the west was too big and their height wore the east down in the second overtime. that and the best player pound for pound in the game today.....KOBE BRYANT. The cream always rises to the top.!!!! Trust me on that. I been there wit the best of them!

If that darned O'Neal wouldnna fouled him maybe we wouldn't we into overtime. But I can't get mad at him, we all make mistakes. And I know the pressure must of been on. Once again, I think Isaiah Thomas giving the ball to Jordan that last play before double overtime was, like the announcers said, being sentimental. Yeah, the east got tired second overtime and all that great playing they had did before was starting to wear off. But even though they loss, the east played well. And unlike regular season games, this one doesn't affect any team record. Ok, so there was that extra $10,000, but I'm proud of all those who I consider my all stars. All of them played very well.

Man, Jordan couldn't make two with a pencil last night. But stilll, I attribute their loss to everything that earthangel said. I also think Isaiah's All-Star coaching style needs some work.

LOL, that reminds me. Pierce and Walker looked so bored on that bench. I was waitin for them to come back in the game. If not pierce, at least Walker. And he told a reporter that he leg wasn't bothering him. When asked why they were on th bench, they said ask th coach. For once I kindda felt sorry for them. ANd its not like they dont get stuff done either.

I like that, couldn't make two with a pencil!. I'm going to use that! That's better than couldn't make two with a pair of snake eyed dice.
