my father is having open heart surgery in baltimore on monday-they will replace 3 of his valves so that he will be able to breathe and his heart won't fail.
it's 4 hours of surgery and they will inject potassium to stop his heart, then shock it back later on.
he will be in the hospital for a week, then he will rehab at home for 2 months without any activity.
his 70th birthday is march 5th. we're fasting and praying as a family that he will come through.

Sukkafu, As always, you know that my prayers are with you and and your family anytime they are going through trials and challenges. Your family's strong faith in God will allow you to put your trust in Him - you know that His grace and mercy will see your Dad through. He will come through surgery just fine, because he has the power of prayer behind him. May God continue to bless you and your family.  |

i found out that dad is out of surgery and he's in intensive care and not awake until tomorrow. his aorta is slightly leaking so they're monitoring that for any problems.
mom and my brothers are exhausted from no sleep -3am til 6 pm your time.
he's not out of the woods yet so keep praying and thanks for doing so!
