4 days and counting!!!
Here is a silly question...how do y'all remember everything to the minute detail on your reviews!? I have a horrible problem in concerts...it's a lot like a dream to me...very surreal. And, as soon as I leave, my memory is foggy...almost like I wasn't really there. It frustrates me like you wouldn't believe, because I want to be able to close my eyes and re-live certain moments. Thank goodness my daughter will be with me, whose mind is like a steel trap! I may have to jot down notes or something... how sad!! I may have a thought, like..... during this song, this person did this. Then, when the show is over, I'm thinking, "What song was that?"

hey (((((Peach)))))...your one and only obligation is to see that you and Anna HAVE A BALL! Anything else is gravy . Seriously, we mostly know what songs they're going to sing, we'd love to see your impressions of their interpretations and the overall concert. If taking notes or worrying about the write-up you're going to do here detracts in any way from your total enjoyment and involvement in the show... let it go! The one exception to those rules is that we do expect a fully detailed account of what they're wearing

I can definitely do a fashion write-up! I can handle the large detail (that was *not* a Dennis reference!) it's the small detail I have trouble with.... We're excited....no doubt about it. And a little nervous, too!! There is something (a little) intimidating about going to a strange town, seeing a concert alone, and being out at night. ;D Peach

Just speak from the heart. Tell us what you liked and what you didn't. That's all we ask! The most important thing is to enjoy yourself!!!

I remember trying write on my program at Wolf Trap...each and every song. I don't know how Ivory does it, because hers are so detailed. I'm always interested in the stuff she puts down...from the menu at the restaurant, to who she met on the plane and then how many beads of sweat Otis had on his forehead after "Get Ready". Just do the best you can. Your first obligation is to yourself. ENJOY!!!! ;DAnd take a pencil.....

Edfan has some nerve with the Saturday Evening Post review he gave of the Funk Brothers concert. You would be asking too much of Peach to give us one of those!!!!!! ;D ;D We all wish we could write a review like edfan.

Peach. I've attended dozens of Review shows in the last four years, and still haven't seen those other four men that people swear are on stage with David. You're bound to do better reviews than anyone gets from me.
Have a Great Time..Nothing like a David Sea show..Oops..A Temptations Review Show.

Peach, just go and enjoy. Aba, my review of the Funks comes from a deep admiration of those 6 remaining Funk brothers. I ran an 18 piece big band from 1972 until 1978. So I feel like a brother to them. Just like I feel the board members here are my brothers and sisters. My love for my brothers and sisters here is huge. Just like my love for the temptations and the Funk brothers. love Edafan

I didn't even think of this! Do you think a Review show will be loud? (I'm going by my past experiences-- Aerosmith concert--VERY LOUD. Kool Concert with oldies performers--Not very loud.) Hmmmmmm Peach

both the tempts last year and the tops this year were loud. funky music gets played loud. if you have up close seats you're in for a real treat!
