bring ear plugs for anna.at that range the noise level will be close to 100 decibels which may cause a partial permanent hearing loss in a young child's auditory canals.

Now Ivory, I know you don't make ALL of it up, because I was with you once and those things REALLY did happen.

Peach. I've attended dozens of Review shows in the last four years, and still haven't seen those other four men that people swear are on stage with David. You're bound to do better reviews than anyone gets from me. Have a Great Time..Nothing like a David Sea show..Oops..A Temptations Review Show. You HEARD the others, next time we will make sure you get a GOOD seat so that you can see the whole group!

Hi everyone!! We just got back this very minute... I have unpacking to do, but I had to get on here for just a minute. Our trip started out great, in that I received a CD of Miriam Makeba "Mama Africa" in the mail, so that was some of our driving music. But when we hit a 20 car pile up on the interstate and had to detour through a mud pit.... I started to lost the good mood. By the time we hit Denver and standing water.... I was a wreck. I have this sedan and we were getting sprayed/blinded right and left. It was scary!!! But we made it! And once the show started, all of that stress was gone!!! Let me first say DAVID SEA. I am converted people. He was fabulous...he sounded fantastic.....can he sing and move! I had not seen him perform live except in that streaming video--and Kalisa...I thought of you. When they got on stage, he was *right* in front of me. (Unfortunately, no vile of sweat was obtained.) So... they were dressed in all white, save for a little lavendar hankie thingy in the jacket front pocket. And very cool shoes. And Dennis...he looked great! When I had watched the Rhythm Love and Soul special, he was unrecognizable in the face to me. But tonight...he looked like Dennis! And he was dancing all over it. And that smile...... is that the winningest smile ever? I'm pretty sure the songs they did there were the same as anywhere. Started out with Standing on the Top, then next Hello, Young Lovers... Get Ready, Lady Soul (YEA DAVID), Girl, Why You Wanna Make Me Blue, (these aren't in order I'm sure!), Don't Look Back, Rainy Night in Georgia, Ain't Too Proud to Beg......Papa Was a Rollin' Stone.....etc. Every one of them....WOW.... The only thing I didn't like is everybody sat through it. When they would start a song, I would jump to my feet and start dancing.... then I'd look around and feel sheepish. I think it was worse because we were in the front row and I felt like my butt was in the way. ;D Highlights of the night..... David Sea blowing a kiss to my daughter (she was in HEAVEN).... Dennis winking and smiling at her (she was ecstatic)... and, when it was over, going up the stage and getting my hand kissed by David. I was a little....well, I was floating. After the show, they had a "meet and greet." We waited by the backstage until they were ready, then they signed autographs and....this made me so mad... let people take pictures!!! I had no idea they would do that and I did not bring a camera! I was all set with my pen and some things to sign, so we did get autographs, but I could have gotten pictures to post! David said to Anna, "You are so cute....I saw you!! What's your name?" She was so embarrassed, but it will be a lasting memory. Definitely a fabulous time... and I was impressed with everything. Dennis sounded great, the horn section was tight.... I have nothing bad to say. Oh.....one other thing..... I wondered if Dennis and Otis were on speaking terms or what the relationship was there. I had a little joke thought up (made me so mad, I wanted to mention the vile of sweat to David and I forgot) for Dennis, so I went ahead and said it. I had this little CD liner insert for him to sign and I told him, "You know, if there isn't any room to sign on this, you can just write on top of Otis." He kind of looked up at me and said, "But I'm over here." Then pointed to his picture. I said, "I know...I'm just teasing you." He said, "I know...." then leaned over and nudged David and said, "She wants me to write on Otis. What do you think?" David said, "Hey, I'm not saying anything...." Dennis smiled then wrote over his picture. Maybe I'm being sensitive (and not related to what I was just saying) but there is something sad in Dennis' eyes, and I can't pinpoint what it is. (Maybe he was just tired.) Anyway....... that's my review!!!! And they ARE going to be in Denver on the 17th at the Paramount--and I just want MORE MORE MORE!!!!! Peach

so glad you made it home safe and sound, (((((Peach!)))))
And really really happy to hear you had such a great time!! I loved your little tease with Dennis!! LOL! I honestly don't know how relations are between he and Otis, but I've never seen or heard him publicly say a negative word about Big O.

Hi Peach! Welcome Home. Great review! You sound like you were really close and I'm so glad you got to go and have them sign autographs too. They say that Dennis is very accessible...and I, like you, love his smile.

It was *well* worth it. If I had a pot of money, I'd travel around like one of those Deadheads and see them whenever and wherever. One thing I forgot....we got a kick out of the way Dennis said Pueblo when singing a song about the city. Instead of Poo-Eb-Low, it was more like Peblo. All day Anna and I have been saying "Peblo" like Dennis. It was adorable the way he said it. ;D I was disappointed we didn't hear "Can't Get Next to You." And didn't someone say that they sang "Can I" at one time, in a tribute to Eddie? Of course, probably too obscure for the people of Peblo. *Not* a lot of Temptaholics there.... I can imagine that *nothing* beats a show with a bunch of Temptaholics. This crowd didn't know a David Sea from a Richard Street. I wanted to turn around and educate everyone when they were trying to figure out who was who and where and who was dead....... Peach

One OTHER thing....I told you about the pile up on the interstate on the way there? My mom told me just a bit ago that it was around 30 or 40 cars and the highway was closed for FIVE HOURS. Now, get this, as soon as I saw the traffic slowing down, I didn't hesitate and try to figure out what it was (in which case, you would have been stuck on the highway), I veered off over the "grassy shoulder" *immediately* and starting driving on the frontage road. Then I took that 6 mile jog in the mud pit and looked like I was four-wheeling...then I found *another* frontage road until I passed the snarled up mess. All in all, a detour of about 20 minutes. I was *Determined* you know. Imagine if I had not thought so quickly! I could have "Missed ANOTHER SHOW!!" (But these tickets say the concert is Saturday.....)
