Now for for my two lil sisters on here, Earth and Irlm.....let's just say the rumor about sisters is they don't want to mess up their hair to learn how to swim............don't beat on me too hard ya'll!!!! ;D ;D ;D :bonk: Don't give us away Aba!!! Seriouosly though. chlorine does something terrible to my hair. One time I spent the night at my friends house, and they had a pool in the neighborhood. (Not many neighborhoods had pools). She wanted to get in but I had just shirley-templed my hair that morning at home. It took her, her mom, and my mom, about an hour to talk my into even considering getting in that pool. But ABA, eventually I did!

peach, we have a lot in common. We do!!! We must have very large RIGHT brains! Some more things we have in common: I, also, wanted to be a rock star or a Broadway star! My dream in high school was to go to NYC. I was always in plays and musicals in school, and loved being in the spotlight. Some of that got lost along the way, though. ;D Although I still love to sing. (I used to write song lyrics, too....but again, my life has changed that.) I joke with Anna because she can write melodies. I tell her maybe we'll be the next Judds. I also love to dance, Sukkafu!! I would get a lot of the principal dance roles in musicals because we had such a small school. Nobody had formal dance training, but I had a good sense of rhythm, so that's where they put me. ;D When another girl was voted "Best Dancer" our senior year, I was MIFFED. And......somewhat in common, Sukkafu.....I didn't skip a grade, but I started school at 4. I always loved being the youngest (especially now!) Peach

This is a GREAT thread! * I also started Kindergarten at age 4. My birthday isn't until Dec. 10th, so I was always one of the youngest in my class. During my first semester in college, I was too young to go out with my friends - couldn't get in any of the clubs!! Boo Hoo!! * I started taking piano lessons on my 4th birthday. I played until I was 11. Once I discovered the flute, the piano was history. I can't even play Chopsticks on the piano now. * For a 'brief' period in the 8th grade - I played bass guitar. It was just a phase - I LOVED Jermaine Jackson back then. * I took ballet and tap from age 6 through 16 and was a member of the National Academy of Dance and Affiliated Artists. * I have the nickname "Miss Know-it-All" because of my penchant for trivia and wanting to learn about all sorts of subjects. (I'm really good at Jeopardy) I've got a knack for being a very quick learner. I taught Computer Technology for K - 5 students and have never taken a computer class in my life. * I sing in 3 choirs and direct our church's youth choir - so I obviously LOVE music! * I have never been in a fight in my life - not even close! * I love pizza and Mexican food - the hotter the better * I have broken my left little toe about 15 times!! * I was a statistician for my high school football team * My mom and I are both sports nutz! The men in my family couldn't care less about sports - never watched any on TV or followed any teams. My ex was a 'football widower' and so was my Dad. * My son is an Eagle Scout and I have been a Scout leader for 13 years. I was presented the BSA Silver Beaver Award in 1999. Silver Beaver is the highest award a BSA council can present to adult leaders. I went to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico with my Boy Scout Troop in 1995, hiking 50 miles and we climbed a 12,544 mountain!!

* I have the nickname "Miss Know-it-All" because of my penchant for trivia and wanting to learn about all sorts of subjects. (I'm really good at Jeopardy) Me, too! ;D I love Jeopardy, but I'm better at music trivia. I know trivia from the 50s that I shouldn't know music-wise.... and love challenging people in music-oriented games. And for some reason my head is full of lyrics....I can still remember all the words to songs we sang in music class in elementary school. And I have no use for them!!! Peach

ABA, my parents used to play the lottery years ago, and I just started playing it this year. I hope to win the lottery so I can buy me a house. ;D
EarthAngel, I lost my middle nail when I was 4. My mom accidentally closed a door on me when she was babysitting at a nursery.

Looks like I have more in common with everyone than I thought!
1. All I know how to play on the piano is "Mary Had A Little Lamb" and a few notes of "Got My Pride"---a recent song by the Dramatics written by L.J.
2. I was the 1st Runner-Up in the 7th grade spelling bee. When it was only me and one girl left, I got nervous and accidentally missed one letter in a word...so the other girl one. I wanted to be in the 8th grade spelling bee, but I happened to be absent that day.
3. I don't catch colds very often, never did. I don't have any allergies or sinus problems either, so I'd consider myself pretty healthy. I do get migraine headaches (usually from stress, too much studying, or waiting too long to eat) and those are so annoying. I missed more days of school because I didn't want to wake up in the morning and not because I was really sick.
4. I got into three fights my seventh grade year. One of them was not my fault. My friend and I were walking down the street when my nemesis, who lived up the street from me, charged up the street and started a fight with me. I didn't fight back because she had two older girls for "backup". My parents called the police on her.
5. I used to get tired of songs, food, clothes, decorations, trends, etc...very easily. I'm better at it now, though.
6. The most cats I have had at one time was seven. Now I have none, but in a year or so I am thinking of getting one.
7. I had a huge fear of throwing up when I was 6 and 7. I used to get very scared and shaky when I thought I might get sick. It was weird and sometimes it happened at school. I never found out what caused these strange panic attacks, but they stopped after my 2nd grade year was over.

hmmm. I don't think I wrote down any little known facts about me.
here are a few:
I believe that the people with the most soul are the people who can't dance, who don't know they can't dance. When they get out on the dance floor you are liable to see anything. I swear it's like they are dancing to the lyrics and not the music.
I like swim with sweats on.
I teach lifeguarding.
I cook everday and have a little catering company to make extra cash.
I don't like green eggs and ham.
Peanut butter and tuna go great together.
I've always wondered why night falls, but day breaks.
In my dreams I fly.
I can't play the card game memory. I once got beat by a guy who was smoking weed.

I couldn't spell in school and I can't spell now even with spell check.
I knew I was right about the hair and swimming
we sure have enough singers on this board. Maybe we should do a musical. I know someone who plays the piano but refuses to play now. But money talks and I could get em'
