I had a few "ME, TOOs" going on here....... IRLM, I am 5'6 1/2 with size 10 feet, too!! I've always hated it....all the cute shoes *aren't* cute on me. And my little girl is heading in that direction, only she is tall!! (She wears a size 4 1/2 and just finished 2nd grade-- and she is 4 ft. 6, the tallest in her class for girls and only one boy is taller!) I can't swim either, Ivory!!!!! In fact, I hate it....in school we had a swimming unit in PE, and I went to my doctor and told him that I got a rash when I swam. What could it be? (Yea, right....) He said, "You must be allergic. I'll write you an excuse from swimming." So I had to write a paper everytime they had the swimming unit...WHICH I LIKED WRITING THE PAPER. (Could be why I got my degree in English.) ;D What a geek! I looked up trichotillomania, Ivory....I have never heard of that. Thanks for educating me!!!!!! Aba, your softball throw comment made me literally laugh out loud!!! That is too hysterical!!!!!! What is amazing me is all the things we all have in common. Nish, if I ever meet you in person, I know what we're eating!!!! Do you have the same philosophy I have? "I've never eaten a pizza I didn't like." Whether it's gourmet or frozen, it's all yummy to me!!! It's like, well, you know, that other thing they say there's no bad version of. Here's some more........ 1. How many of you knew your great grandparents? Not me. My great-grandfather fought in the Civil War. Think about it, that's pretty wild. He was born in 1854, his daughter, my grandmother was born in 1906, my mother, her daughter, was born in 1946 and I was born in 1973. My great grandfather was almost one hundred and twenty years older than me. 2. I do not know how to do any of the following..... whistle, ride a bike, or swim. However I can take a computer apart and put it back together. I didn't get out much as a kid. 3. My one great talent is to be able to talk in this really funny voice. It's something I'm famous for in my non-Internet life. As a matter of fact, y'all are missing out on a BIG aspect of my personality not being able to hear it. I don't think I've ever met a pizza I don't like. Of course, some are better than others, but for goodness sake, if there's a pizza slice in front of me, I'm going to eat it! Duh! and if we meet, we will not be whistling, riding bikes, or swimming - BECAUSE I CAN'T DO THOSE THINGS EITHER! It's okay! :comfort: Eating pizza and shopping is just SO much better anyway. :dancing:

I wear a size 6 shoe. Does size 6 count as little feet?
DBABY, I'm the opposite of you when it comes to pain. I can't handle the smallest amount of pain.
27 is a great number. My favorite singer, L.J., was born on the 27th of January.

Self, it's not that I *can't* swim--I should have been more accurate.....if I fell out of a boat, I could do the sidestroke or elementary backstroke. So, I guess that's swimming in a way. But I HATE to swim.....I would never want to get any more "advanced" than those two little strokes. So... what I'm saying is I'm un-teachable! ;D Plus, I am legally blind without my contacts. How could I swim well if I can't see where I'm going?! Peach

I can't snap either!! I thought I was the only person who couldn't snap. I can swim a little, can't really ride a bike, but I can blow bubbles with bubble gum.
1. I hate ketchup. Never will eat anything with ketchup. 2. I don't eat fast food hamburgers either. The only burgers I eat are homemade. 3. Another thing I just can't seem to drink is milk. Instead, I drink soy milk. 4. I taught myself how to use a computer. My dad bought a PC when I was 11, and it had Windows 3.1 on it. I didn't know anything about computers, so I learned most of what I know by checking out the different features. 5. I lost my left middle nail when I was 4. It grew back but it still doesn't look like the rest of my nails.

Ok, I've thought of some more! (You guys are all like "Oh Dbaby! Spare us!!" LOL, just kidding)
1. I can sing the entire Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat play from memory without music.
2. My brother had a sezure and fell on top of me out of the blue when I was in the 5th grade and I started freaking out (We were in the middle of the mall) and I started hugging some lady I don't even know and as soon as I screamed "Oh God please don't let him die" he stopped and this guy came up and he looked like a MD but he said something about not being from around here so he couldn't get too into it, but he would stay until the MD's showed up, and as soon as he said that they got there and then he disappeared. That's my proof that there is a God.
3. I'm pretty sure I'm a neo-hippie
4. If I visit Texas for even just a week I get my accent back.
5. Besides when I was tiny, I've only really cried about 4 times.
6. Ketchup, Ranch, and Chocolate go well on ANYTHING. I've seriously tried it on EVERYTHING!
7. Besides being alone, the only thing I'm afraid of deathly is spiders.

I won't either, Diva. I hate the stuff. Just disgusting for no reason. Whoo hoo! I'm not alone! My little sister reaches my shoulder. She's 7 years old and just finished the first grade. I want to say she wears a size 2 in shoes. Selfish knows I can't swim. I never wanted to learn either. I tried to teach my brother how to whistle. I still don't think he can. ;D I can snap with my left hand but I can't with my right hand. I cry ALL the time. Seriously. It's always something. I saw Matrix Reloaded today and my eyes were just a-watering. I think it's a medical condition.

Let me add:
I can bounce a basketball very well with my left hand, but I wouldn't dare try to dribble past somebody with my right. Can we say turnover? I mentioned this because I'm right-handed, but I feel more comfortable doing some things with the left hand than with the right.
I have 20/50 vision in my left eye. I passed my eye test by guessing the numbers. I stood at that little eye machine for something like five minutes, trying to figure out what each number was. That's a 3... wait, it looks like a 5...

;D ;D ;D Peach I'm so glad you cleared that up. You would have been the first white person I knew who couldn't swim like a fish. Now for for my two lil sisters on here, Earth and Irlm.....let's just say the rumor about sisters is they don't want to mess up their hair to learn how to swim............don't beat on me too hard ya'll!!!! ;D ;D ;D I speak fluent italian and was a DJ on an italian radio station in Varese, Italy. My dog that I brought home only responded to italian commands so he didn't speak english!!!!! ;D ;D I have five brothers all 6'ft 6 in or better. My mom is 6ft tall. We used to go around DC and whip everybody we could find on the basketball court when I was home from school or the season. One of my brothers was persued by an obsessed female police officer and when he rejected her advances she came to the school where he teaches in DC and shot him twice. She thought he was dead and then she took her own life. My brother has recovered from his wounds but I thought that stuff happened only in the movies. And one of my brothers hit the DC lottery a few years ago for almost 1 million dollars. Can you imagine that? Some of us have to go to work to earn that kind of money!!!!! ;D ;D ;D We have checked and found out IRLM and Earthangel as well as Peach are scheduled for a great financial windfall next!!!!!! ;D And Peach.....I was always in trouble in grade school. Problem was my mom worked right accross the street as a Nurse and could see out on the playground. She was always coming over kicking my butt for something. I used to come home from school crying all the time after getting picked on by the bigger kids. (Yes, there were some bigger than me. I was little one time you know ;D) She told if I came home crying again she was going to give me something to cry for,if you know what I mean. She said if somebody picks on me and I can't beat em', pick some thing up and hit em' with it. So one day I took her advice on the playground a kid was picking on me and I picked up a rock and hit him in the head and yes you guessed it, she saw it out of window and came over to the playground and whipped my butt again!! And lastly, on Thursday my learning disabled daughter who is 16 and going to HS for the first time next school season, attending mainstream school got the highest honor at her school, The Principal's Award for outstanding Female Student. We had no idea and it was a total surprise for her to win over the traditional students who were at her school. All the teachers and other students gave her a standing ovation and of course.........I went home from school crying again!!!!! I know I sent you on an emotional roller coaster ride here.......but wasn't it worth it?

I'm gonna have to teach you members how to swim. Just tell me Theo's drowning in the deep end and he needs to be rescued and I'll jump off the high diving board if I have to!!! I mentioned this because I'm right-handed, but I feel more comfortable doing some things with the left hand than with the right.
Do you think maybe you were forced to do things with your right hand when you were little and in reality, you really ARE left handed? You would have been the first white person I knew who couldn't swim like a fish.Hi there Aba, my name is Ivory, nice to meet you!
