Selfish it used to be a skinny pole in the middle of the turntable that you fit a contraption that would hold about a Dozen 45s and drop them one at a time. The skinny on did the same thing for lps. Then they camu up with the little plastic spindles to put in the 45s and you didn't need the adapter to play them because they sarted making turntables with out the long skinny pole in the middle which then stopped you from playing more than one record at a time which ios where we are today

yeah, my parents used to have the turn tables with the pole that could hold a bunch of records. We got rid of it because it first started dropping multiple records then it just stopped playing.

Sorry, have to call a foul here. While post it notes and LP's are VERY good inventions, they're not trivial enough. I mean, it can't be something that actually made our life BETTER ............ just MORE FUN!!!! The pre-cut cookies though, oh yeah!!! That was a BIG ONE!!! Just cook 'em up, four at a time!!!! That's one way to die FAT and HAPPY!!!!  Love 'em!!!! Here's one ............... honey barbeque flavored Fritos. YUM!!!!! |
