He didn't miss any shows I attended but am I not to take the word of Smokey Robinson, or Berry Gordy both of whom said he missed rehersals, meetings and shows. Are they lying on David as well. Even if I give you Otis is a liar, what about Smokey and Berry? And what about him saying he missed some shows because of his dispute with Motown. This becomes the same kind of story like the did you see Richard sing behind the curtain. Richard himself said he did. Is he lying as well? My point is that are many things we weren't privy to around this group no matter how much we think we know. I'd be curious to know if Cornelias Grant has ever been asked the questions about David and Richard. I wouldn't take the word of BG ... You know he was an "ANYTHING TO MAKE A BUCK" kinda guy ... Smokey ... I would take his word ... BUT he also talked to BG ... who like I said anythng for a $ ... ;D |

If Otis was lying about David missing that show, David had the time and opportunity to refute it. That's why I want Dennis and Richard to write their books. None of us are promissed tomorrow. Put up or shut up. I'll put up ... David WAS gonna write a book ... Then he OD'd ... You should know that ;D |

    Mike--how come you just CANNOT understand this??? What is there to understand ... It says WHY IS DENNIS THERE IF DAVID DID NOTHING WRONG ... with that logic why dennis replaced ... Or any of the other 21 temptations there has been ... is that statement saying that 20 tempts (Otis is not included cuz according to all these post he seems to be uncapiable of ANY flaw) missed concerts or did something wrong? Times change ... Dennis replaces David, But soon Dennis is gone to ;D. (I know this was addressed to mike ... But I couldn't resist answering this one ;D) |

He missed shows. That's a fact. Just because he showed up at one didn't mean he didn't miss any other shows. I used Mary as an example because no one seems to question her slant of her side of the story because so many are quick to believe that Ms. Ross was a demon. But if someone points out a flaw in David or any other Temptations automatically its a lie or the person is jealous of David or that David was misunderstood. No david was HUMAN ... Human's make errors ... I can belive he missed rehearels ... That I'll swallow ... But David had a passion for music ... it was his life ... And to miss a concert would be like stabbing himself ... I just can't belive someone with a love of music (especialy one that big) would miss any concerts ... I will go on record and say David had his share of problems ... But so did the other temptations ... Why it centers around him I don't know ... It could be the fact that he's dead and won't say anything about it ... But like it or not there are people out here who will defend the man on something they just don't fall for ... He loved it to much ... And also for the record ... Ms.Ross ... was a demon ... JK ;D |

There is at least evidence (Past Otis and BG) to back this one up: 1) Died in the same kinda shorts paul did 2) Was gonna write a book 3) Had a fiance 4) All that money that was never found 5) Cuz I said so Maybe 5 isn't the best evidnece but ... I think it is good enough ... ;D ... Give me 4 ... just 4 VERY VERY good reasons to bvelive david missed concerts, And I mean EVIDENCE pictures of the C4 (Classic 4 ... you know if david wasn't there someone musta got a picture of it) or video ... Not "WITNESSES" or stories. All I need is 4 lil bits (Very good bits) of proof ... ;D |
