THIS IS GREAT NEWS?...... I am totally in love with "Aint No Mountain High Enough"!! The music is AWESOME, and Black (Ms. Ross) didn't do too bad herself. ::)before anyone can get offended, 'Black' was a pet name that Diana and Berry used to refer to each other. ((2Sweet)) Another Ashford & Simpson classic, "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing" is presented in a GREAT alternate version on Marvin & Tammi's "Complete Duets" 2CD package. They also do a rollicking version of "We'll Be Satisfied" (the Tempts version was released on Lost & Found and is a standout!). I can't believe that cut was never a single release back in the day. The Funk Brothers are JAMMIN' on both versions. ((Aba)) from the sample I heard, Paul is leading on "You Gave Me Something". We'll hear the rest and I bet "We'll be Satisfied" (and wish for more).......Peace

Give it up, Mike. Capitalizing all the letters in MISPRINT does not make it a misprint. "Not Now I'll Tell You Later" was recorded in 1963. No matter whether you capitalize the word, put it in bold face, or whatever, it does not change the fact that it was recorded in 1963, and David Ruffin is not in the song. You will notice that I mistyped the first word in the title in one posting, but on later entries I made sure I did not make any typing errors on the title. And your boxed in quote of mine had the correct title. It's a fun song, and I've always liked it. My source says this is not true. My source says thie version of this song that was released to the public has David on it. Maybe they added him in,like some say they did on The Way You Do The Things You Do. All I'm giving up is...information.

I'm not too impressed with this package. The Music is great of course, clean versions sounding fantastic!! It's Universal. For one, "Then" is listed as a "previously unreleased extended version", On the original LP the cut is listed as 2:15 minutes long. This "new" version is 2:20 minutes and simply includes a WHOLE 5 seconds that was cut on the fade back in '68. Please!!!!!. One thing I find interesting is that the recording info lists "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" as being recorded in Feb '68. It goes on to say that Dennis' lead vocals were recorded in July '68. Was David the lead vocalist originally? If so maybe we'll hear that in another 5 or 10 years. Cadeho, I think we hear Al all over the extended version of "Not Now....." Is Paul on "Sing a Simple Song"? ..........Peace

Hear Al all over the extended version of "Not Now...?" I don't hear him.
Is Paul on "Sing a Simple Song?"... he should be... maybe he's in the background?
