barrington henderson is a talented singer and professional entertainer. he just doesn't give me the excitement that other previous tempts have done. i am sure he gives his all every night onstage. i just prefer guys like theo and ali, and more than them, david,david sea,and dennis e.

i only have to listen to casino san pablo to hear the difference! and i'm sure it's not as good as the review live! but........if dennis won't come out to see me- then otis wins by default.  |

Sukka - reserve your judgement after a live performance of the entire group - not the 3.5 you saw before. Taped performances do not do them justice.
If I judged Dennis' Review based on the PBS show, I wouldn't bother going to see them.

Casino San Pablo that is the cd recording that I have from the Review is that the show you are referring to Sukka? Only two songs sound good on the cd the rest are so so at best. The PBS show does equal to Pretty Bad Show I was not impressed at all.

I plan to make a fair and just assessment after I see Otis' group in September.... I think the Review show will still be fresh in my mind. Not that this is a competition, mind you, but I'm still curious as to the differences in their shows......

Bo, doesn't do a bad job on "My Girl." I certainly would rather hear him do it than Richard. Though, I'm not dissing Rich. Lord knows, that Rich is man. He just don't do "My Girl" all that hot. But Bo is good on it. I just don't like how they don't let the singers get through the song and have those chumps get up on stage and sing it for the tempts.

I feel the same way you do about Richard singing that song. But I am not thrilled with Bo's rendition either. For such a simple song it can be intimidating to the person who sings it because of its history. Bo has the goods to sing it but he needs to make it his own. That takes time!
