 NEW TEMP IS AN OLD SPINNER: G.C. Cameron joins the Temptations. (Apr. 21, 2003) *Soul singer G.C. Cameron, who was a member of the Motown group the Spinners in the 70's, is now joining the Temptations. Motown Alumni Association (MAA) reports that Cameron will replace Temptations member Barrington Henderson. Old school purists will remember Cameron as the lead vocalist on the Spinners’ first major hit, “It’s a Shame.” He later left the group to pursue a solo career and was most recently seen on stage with the Spinners during a PBS special. “We think this is an excellent move for the Temptations; Cameron is a seasoned professional with great charisma,” the MAA said in a statement. I'll take it over the Bo candy ANY day. Well, it will one day, but by then the fair will be over. |

Yeah, me too. As soon as I find a man who's the perfect combination of most of the Tempts, (but looks like Thoe) Nat Cole, Clark Gable, Shaq, Pharrell, Tony Soprano, the POW pilot dude, and all the guys on this board  I'm gonna snatch him up! ;D |
