Well what do you know Joe!!!!! I shouldn't be surprised but I am wonderfully enlightened by the sound of your voice. Go head on wit cho bad self!!!!!!!! By the way....I was there at that show...I remember ROn's warm-up suit! ;D ;D Thank you Aba21... Steve Silicato was there that same night. He was the Temptation fan from Philadlephia who performed with Temptations in California - living out his dream on an ABC-TV show hosted by the late Robert Urich & (I think Joanna Kerns)

I knew that was a good one........so good that if it hit the rim at all...I didn't want it.......... ;D ;D ;D ;D
Yeah I remember that Curet30. There was also a couple of wild and crazy djs from LA who had a short lived tv show in which ithe firsat show was them doing the Tempts for a couple of days and then performing with them. It was a nice look inside to see what it is like to be a Temptation. I have that show on video but I cant remember thier names right now.........

Joe,I love the arrangements, and the singing is beautiful. If you all ever come close to Houston let me know.Keep up the beautiful music.I live to sing and you guys are very good. Thank you James. The arrangements were "borrowed" from live performances and their recordings on Motown. My favorite arrangement is 'You're My Everything'. I love the strings on that song and the bass line is so smooth. Then there are the TWO guitar parts, one playing the vamp an the other playing the licks (I think I used an organ for the licks) However, arrangements on IN LOVE WITH YOU were co-arranged by my old bandmates and me If my job EVER decides to send me down to Houston (we have offices on Travis Blvd/St) I'll look you up.

I'm digging the vocal arrangements on Just My Imagination....... ;D Thanks Aba21... They were arranged the same way as their live version with the exception of the "soons". My old baritone Anthony Cooper, Jr threw that in, so I kept it when I did the recording.

Good loking group! Are all the guys Temps fans? Naw - I was the only one :laughing Ricardo is originally from Detroit and he was there when it was happening. He used to watch Smokey ride around the neighborhood as a child. But Ricardo is a major Marvin Gaye fan. That night we took that picture we sang 'Distant Lover' and the ladies went crazy over Ricardo. Drew is my high school buddy and he stuck with the group for as long as it lasted. He married and moved to Atlanta with his wife. Anthony married Drew's ex-girl friend, a year after I got married. Drew's ex and I went to the same high school. She and Anthony met at my wedding. Drew matched them up as a joke but the joke was on us. Never in a million years did we think they would hook up and get married. She also sings with The Crystals by the way.

Could he remind you of J.T.Taylor former lead singer of Kool & the Gang!!!!! ;D My exact thoughts Aba21. I listened to "I Wish It Would Rain", and Ricardo nailed it!! Also, "Just My Imagination" was very good. I noticed that it was performed similar to the Tempts version on the "Harrah's" video. Very, Very Good

I noticed that it was performed similar to the Tempts version on the "Harrah's" video. Very, Very Good Thanks Nupeman... It's funny, now that I look back; when I played in a band, we always arranged cover songs ourselves like 'Tonight' by Kool & The Gang. We added all new horn parts for that song. We also added new horn lines to Sly & The Family Stone's 'Thank You (Fa Lettin Me Myself)'. However, when I sang with the FELLAS, all Temptation songs were sung as they were, in the records or as in the Harrah's Live video. I never deviated from the original arrangement.
