IVORY - You are too kind. Although I sing with the Channels, remember Terry and I are the same age. We grew up listening to Motown on our parents' record players. I always wanted to be a Temptation before anything else. Earl Lewis & The Channels aren't chopped liver but the greatest vocal group of MY time are the Temptations.

LOL! Sorry if it came out as me making you old enough to be original .................... but as you well know, doesn't matter to me if someone is an original or not, I love everybody the same! What's good enough for Ruffin is good enough for you! ;D

Joe has a beautiful voice all of the songs he did had a lot of feeling in them. And when he sang Wish it would rain I had tears in my eyes. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Springtime, Thank you but 'I Wish It Would Rain' was led by my buddy, Ricardo Wright. I always felt it was Ricardo's best recording. This is a picture Ricardo and me with Otis and Ron

Hi IVORY -
'In Love With You' - words by yours truly. Music (keyboards and string arrangements) by yours truly. Robert Simmons came up with the bass line and Gamal Chasten came up with the vocal arrangement on the bridge. Even Gamal's "on and on" and "you know it, you know it, you know it will" deserved to be acknowledged as his creation for copyright purposes.

Well I didn't realize that Ricardo was the OTHER cute guy in that picture (you of course being the first cute guy.) I've seen that before and always thought he was someone famous, I just couldn't figure out who. He reminds me of someone. Ok, thanks, I'll fix it!

Folks used to say Ricardo Wright looked like James 'JT' Taylor from KOOL AND THE GANG
