The lo-carb donut is just ............... WRONG. It would be like having an ugly, non-singing Temptation in a bad suit! Indeed! A Low-Carb donut is ! I know donuts aren't *good* for you....but why deny yourself a little delicious donut? Everything in moderation! Have a donut, do 10 extra minutes of cardio. No problem! ;D ;D ;D All this donut talk is making me crave them! Peach

Yes they are! I attribute to the fact that I'm such a sweet girl to the number of Krispy Kremes I've consumed in my life.
If it weren't for them I'd be a total [bleep!] :laughing

Yes! That's right! And because of donuts, I am jelly-filled! :laughing :laughing I do love donuts....I DO. The last time I bought a dozen, though, I swear I ate 8 of them.... and my mom and daughter ate the other 4. Peach

Low Carb stuff is wrong -- no doubt about that. But I wish, I wish, I wish my bathroom scales were wrong, too. There must be a way to eat a dozen donuts every now and then without having to buy new jeans everytime ... But I've kept two of the "before" jeans ... and I'll get me some KK's ... I wonder what happened to the neighbors' weekend delivery? They had them delivered to their door every weekend ... Can ou believe that? I'll talk to them, too.

I wonder what happened to the neighbors' weekend delivery? They had them delivered to their door every weekend ... Can ou believe that? I'll talk to them, too. I don't own a scale.... I haven't lost a pound since taking up weightlifting in September, and I don't want to be reminded everyday. I weigh exactly the same...but I *feel* better! I don't eat dozens, but I do eat donuts. And cookies.... lots of cookies. I always have one with coffee in the mornings. I really think working out at the gym helps. I lift weights.... a lot..... and do 20 minutes of cardio. I'm in and out of there in an hour....... so it's not like I bust my butt. And maybe I'm not really skinny.... I have a big ol' butt. ;D And I weigh more than I ever have. (I used to be so tiny! I think *that's* old age!) But I'm solid. And I could kick some a**. I think what makes the jean business so complicated is... they make them for *one* kind of woman. And that's so wrong. So eat those donuts! Like my mom always tells me, "It's not about vanity....just remember your cholesterol and your heart." Yea......*right*! Peach

Now Peach You are so much younger than I am, and believe me each year over forty takes an enormous effort to stay in some resemblance of a good shape And my problem is, once I start eating such delicious things I cannot stop ... Like ken-du and the chocolate cake. Remember? The same with Coke. If I have none at home, I am fine. But as soon as I know there's some in the fridge, I'm at it. I do exercise, too. I walk at least every other day for about 45 minutes, alternating with exercising my abs and you know what else ;D After I have sinned badly, I even do both on the same day. And I have to admit: It is all about vanity ;D I know I am shallow and superficial not to think about cholesterol and all ...

I know what you're saying, AnnaKonda. I know I'm only 36 (only?), but it does get harder each year. I remember in my 20s, I didn't have to do *anything* and I didn't gain a pound. Now that I'm working a sedentary job, I need to stay active. And I know my butt has gotten bigger with each passing year. ;D My sister does the same thing when she has sweets in the house. Now, I have a theory, which may be way off, but I find it to be true in my case. I always have *something* sweet in the house....and, when I don't, I make sure I re-stock. It's my goody stash. Because it's always there, I don't feel the compulsion to eat it... it's a treat that I know I always have access to. Whether it's chocolate or Girl Scout Cookies, I have at least a handful of M&Ms every day....or a snack size candy bar. I don't buy Coke only because my daughter would be begging me for some every day! My sister never buys sweets.... she has six kids and they wouldn't last. ;D But when she does, she downs them in like a day. Maybe that's just a difference in temperament. Maybe my compulsion comes out with clothes shopping. ;D (My sister doesn't have that problem.) I don't know....but I feel like when I deprive myself, I go hog wild when the opportunity for sweets arises. And I have a major sweet tooth....so I just make sure I can indulge it daily to keep me in line. ;D Although my mom claims if you don't have it, after awhile you don't crave it and it tastes yucky. (Sweets, that is. HEE!) I don't wait for that moment, although I think she's right.....like fast food. If you don't eat it for months, it tastes bad when you finally do. Something like that. I think I'm not making sense! Oh, and Keres.... record for donuts in a day for me...... probably four? Peach
