Neither do I, & that wasn't my point at all. That's untrue. You are the main one making noise on his technique, going flat, incorrect breathing etc., whatever. Point is Eddie is a legend and Glenn, Ricky, Damon, and Ron are not. He has the most recognizable name as far as 1st tenor/falsetto voices are concerned in American pop music culture. The way he sang was simply his OWN particular S-T-Y-L-E. He never tried to copy anyone, he is the one that R&B tenors try to emulate sir.  What's your point anyway?... Are you saying that Glenn's a more technically correct singer? Maybe, but not as popular or talented as Eddie. I agree Glenn's a helluva singer. Are you a virtuoso or ....maybe more gifted yourself? Glenn who?? I can't believe you (Cheech) started a thread asking members to rate the Tenors.
Cheech where have you been hinding out on the moon? I am new to the Tempts culture and I knew who was the best 1st tenor the answer is Eddie!! Let me say it louder so you can hear me TEXT!!!
Cheech or any else who wants to challenge the best possible tenor lets put it to the test: Prime Eddie against Replacements!! The winner is Prime Eddie!! My point is the man is the man when it comes to best tenor and once again who is Glen!!
Cheech next time you start a thread challenging any of the C5's talents check your facts before you state your opinion better yet order The Temptations Complicatons Video. The video highlighted the all tenors who call themselves a Tempt. You will be amaze why replacements always give props to EJK because he was the best 1st tenor.

I believe Glenn is the cleanest and technically best first tenor. That doesn't mean though that one has to love him more than Eddie or Ron ... Sometimes a tiny dash of imperfection adds to the beauty of a voice. I love David's voice, for example, most when it is about to crack ...
