Mike, one of these days you are going to actually make a point. On that day there will be dancing in the streets. One day you will grow up.I made my point...I don't agree with you. Al of what you are attempting to say is to show that in YOUR opinion,Glenn is the best first tenor. You fall short of your desires.Reason being..you've never heard Glenn LIVE & in person. You don't know what he sounds like today...and Motown did not release recordings that were flawed. Maybe you left your copies out in the sun too long. Now,just because I don't agree with you ..means I didn't make my point? Silly! You are way out of your league. All I know is that Motown music has been studied and listened to and review by more qualfied people than yourself, therefore ,it's YOUR OPINION ! Don't mean that it's right. I never heard it reviewed like you are trying to do. That's on you.I've never heard what you hear...I've been listening to it longer than the two of you put together.Cliff notes ain't gonna get it,sorry. You can say whatever you want to about me...you don't know me.Sell that crap to whomever will buy it I won't. GET THE POINT! You don't know me,or what I know or don't know.I know what sounds good and what don't. Talk smack all day if you want to.I don't see it the way you want me to.Like you were the only one who thinks that you can get someone out of the projects to out sing David Sea! Silly,Bo can't even do it.As far as me making a point ....that is also YOUR opinion.......Again,you're like Gilligan...alone .stuck, all by yourself.

First, you should ask, then you would know,if I heard any sound bites...then you would find that I did not hear them. ASK,don't assume.

Been listening to "live at the kabana club." Eddie is very pitchy on all of the songs. Right now, I'm listening to "Girl, You Need A Change Of Mind" and it's not going so hot as far as pitch is concerened. The Band is Tight. Now two guys who held their pitches together in that show were Paul and David.

Just because humans can't hear above 20,000 hertz doesn't mean those sounds don't exist. And just because you may not have good relative pitch & can't tell the difference doesn't mean it doesn't exist either. That I think Glenn was the Tempts "best" tenor is my opinion. That Eddie's pitch is wobbly at times is not.

Yeah, he sure did, and so did Christian (Paul) DB (Melvin) and the dude who played Al. If I wasn't so pooped I'd tell you songs they sang on, but they did, not ALL of them, but any time you hear someone OTHER than a real Tempt singing it's the actor portraying him. The only exception is Leon and his vocals were done by Louis Price (at least that's the rumor.) I've got a pretty good ear, and I don't think that was Louis Prices' vocals. He sounds more like Jerry Butler. The singer who did the vocals in the movie had that gritty churchy sound in his voice. Louis is a refined baritone. Incidentially, In the movie, I've heard that Leon actually supplied the vocals on (I Know) I'm losing You.

If you asked the AVERAGE person who was the guy in the Temptations with the high voice, 99% of the answers would be Mr. Eddie James Kendricks. It would also be Ricky Who?, Damon Who?, Glenn Who, and Ron Who?. Mr. Kendrick is also the most copied falsetto/1st tenor in music period. I don't ever recall people making noise on how bad he sounded. Singing in the demanding falsetto voice for over 30 years can take its toll on anyone, smoking doesn't help either. Last but not least, how many hits have anyone of Eddie's replacements ever had. In the real world best equates to stats, dollars etc. You all see where I'm going with this. Happy Holidays Yall!!
