Was listening 2 this album last night (and right now, 2), and I'm really enjoying it. I don't play it often so I guess that is why I appreciate it even more. I love the mellowness of it. I like everything on it, except maybe "The Christmas Song"...I'm a Nat Cole fan, so to me no one else can do that song justice, not even Nat's daughter. ;D
What are yall's favorite cuts from that LP...

As good as this album is, I must say that "Give Love at Christmas" is better.

How about this? Imagine if Paul did sing 'Let It Snow' and that track was kept in the vaults because Norman liked Dennis' version better. hmmmmm It's just a thought and it may have possibly happened... I mean maybe Eddie could have recorded a track too but that's just stretching it too far.

As good as this album is, I must say that "Give Love at Christmas" is better. Hmmm Ivory... Maybe us "seasoned" folks (I won't say old) lean towards 'A Christmas Card'. The favorite few I enjoy on 'Give Love At Christmas' is 'Silent Night' and Richard Street's song which I cannot for the life of me remember the title on curet30. For me there's too much synth work on 'This Christmas' and I never could feel Melvin's song and 'Drummer Boy'. For me, there isn't a bad song on 'Christmas Card'. Just my 2 cents
