Yep. I read some of it yesterday on Amazon. Then I found the first 55 pages of it on Google Books. I'm glad they gave us a little preview so we can know whether it's really worth the purchase or if it's just an 'add on' to the previous add on. I guess it wouldn't be since it has a different author all together. Another good thing is it's not an Otis Williams narrative.

So, you guys think it's worth reading? I was a bit taken aback by the sensational tone of the description. It sounded just the impression with me as if this was just another hyped up pseudo-bio. Or something similar.

Or something similar. Yes I highly recommend it,its better than the first book,it has perspectives from multiple people, this book pulls zero punches. It talks about each Temptation, including Otis. This book is a must read. You wont be disappointed,I promise

I thought the book was good. The author showed no favortism to any Temptation and had comments from people like Dennis who earlier kept most of his thoughts to himself. He seemed to have no axe to grind with anybody and when he didnt believe someone who told a story, he said it!

I just finished it last week and enjoyed it, however, I would have liked to have read the real reason Theo left the group(I know it wasn't just to join the 4 Tops)........... I would love to read a book by Richard Street who was rumored to have one coming out years ago called "Ball of Confusion."

I read both books by Otis, the second book was basically the same as the first excect it had a few more chapters that talked about Paul and melvin's illnesses... and more tid-bits regarding other members, but in both of the books never once did he say anything about questions being raised about David and eddie's sexuality as this writer does..He even talked about Dennis and Areatha's relationship in an unflattering way..now the thing that I took from Otis books was he was hurt that the magic with the "Classic 5" ended the way it did,he knew they were special and had made a vow to stay together.. forever, similar to wedding vows, but we all know marriage is not always the same after the honeymoon ends so you divorce and move on,it hurt but this is your profession and the show must go on...no ,I think he really loved that group of Temps, and thiks what you read in those 2 book was man who was bitter and felt betrayed...Idon't think he misses Dennis,Richard,Ali,Damon or any of the others like he does David,Eddie ,Paul

If I remember correctly, Genna said something about rumors about David's sexual orientation.

Thers are a lot of Genna and Tony Turner contributions to this book that really takes the reader to the dark side of David and EDDIE...personally I don't need to hear all this crap because I'm a TEMPTATIONS fan,and all I wanna hear is that sound that only they could make!!!Leave that "Schock Journalism" to the political world and leave my Temps alone...

Idon't think he misses Dennis,Richard,Ali,Damon or any of the others like he does David,Eddie ,Paul ' Of course he would miss those who dug the trenches with him. That should include Dennis and Richard.
