We`ve been discussing the movie a lot already, but the opinions about it are all around the place... Lets try gather them in one thread now, say your thoughts about the movie (miniseries) here! 
I think the movie is just PERFECT!
Can`t be done any better... It has everything in it: sad moments, happy moments, good music, good actors, some feeling of nostalgia,...everything! Just wonderfully done! Yes, maybe some were portrayed not in a very best way, but...the movie wouldn`t be so good then. It`s true! And to me actually, nobody was shown there in such a bad way that I would start to hate someone of them really bad..No!
My opinions about the Classic Tempts, wich are based only by that movie:
David - A man with a big ego and later turned drug addict...Oh, what a bad man! ;D Hehe, well but his ego was the thing that made him so unique and...sexy! He was really a very charismatic lead-singer with incredible voice and without any doubt Tempts wouldn`t get that famous if it wasn`t for him...But the movie also showed the soft side of David, im sure you know the moments what I mean...Sometimes he got pretty sensitive. So in general, (and I just now first time say it out) he was a great guy, even reminds of me slightly..was fooling around and teasing all the time, but when things got serious because of that..he regretted afterwards...And if you look nowadays at other those grug users and etc. , then all of them are mainly criminals: killing and stealing to get money,....Davis wasn`t like that!
Otis - Left an impression of very reasonable man. He was the sort of the "father" figure there... But I don`t mind that, if Tempts ever needed someone like "that", then in my opinion, only Otis would be the right man in that place! And that`s why I like the real Otis that much.
Melvin - Really nice guy...shy and quiet type..
Someone who would be a great friend to have (right, Aba?).. He also seemd to be a very loyal buddy, and a person who really can listen to you when youre in a need of that..
ps. He has the same birthday as me! 12-th October!
Paul - Great singer, but.......alcoholic! Oh, so what? My grandfather was also heavy on drinking and I didn`t love him any less because of that...When he was ok, he was the nicest man around..Paul was a true soul of the Tempts! Though he was ill later in the end of his life, he still wanted to perform with them no matter what..Always wanted to be there, on stage with his best friends..A real Temtation!
Btw, all the huge Paul-David fans here...Not only Otis was the man who fired one of your favorites David, but as the movie showed...Paul also voted David "out" and I think that was really the decisive vote! So don`t forget it, it wasn`t just Otis-Melvin, but also PAUL, who wanted David to go.
