Someone took down the audio from The Peoples' website so you can't hear how he truly sounds. I don't mean to dig but, based on what I've heard, that's a very good thing. As a singer, he's one heck of a good actor.

No problem. Wouldn't hold out on ya'll. No I ain't southeren I've just been saying ya'll a lot lately....think Leon is the cause of that with his whole "Hello Ya'll" line in the movie; such an influence. lol.

Thanks soo much for that LEON site....he's got to be one of the most beautiful men on the planet!! Got any more sites? If so please send them to me =) Anyways, wether Leon sings the David Ruffin leads or not in the movie(Except that "Ya'll begging me not to leave you, & I refuse to let you go" in his apartment which I give full credit to him for!!) he did an amazing job reguardless!!!! Maybe I'll just write to him or his agent & find out for myself from the man himself....trusting/hoping his ego is no were near as large as Davids supposedly was & that he'll tell the truth =) I'll let you guys know if I get a response. ......speaking of nice looking men.. since you like Leon.. ya might want to find a pic of THEO hes kind of got that.. leon .."watch out for me.. I'm trouble...playful look" ... come on K2.. put up a Theo Pic... *s* |

TERRON BROOKS DID NOT LIE ABOUT SINGING THE WAY YOU DO THE THINGS YOU DO. IF YOU LISTEN TO THE VERSION WHILE SINGING IN THE STUDIO ITS THE MAN HIMSELF EJK BECAUSE HE SAYS THANGS.
NOW IF YOU LISTEN TO THE ONE WHILE THEY ARE ON STAGE IT IS TERRON BECAUSE HE SAYS THINGS{which is totally different from the original version)

They all sung in the movie.
It may not be every scene or every song, but all of the actors sung a part in the movie
Otis- Sung most of the song "Earthangel" in the beginning. Don't know what else though...
Blue- Sung most of the songs.
David- Possibly sung some songs and a snippet of "Aint to Proud" in his apartment.
Eddie- Sung most of the songs.
Paul- Sung most of the songs plus "For once in my life".

Maybe that what makes me love this movie even more because the actors displayed more than just one talent and did a excellent job with it too.
