I've never been on the ride. I went to Disney world when I was 3 and that was it. I guess there's some parts of the movie that are on the ride or something but I have no clue what parts those are! It's really annoying!

Dbaby,
There are scenes from the ride that are duplicated and bring laughter to anyone familiar with Disney World. Since I was just at Disney World for a week in May and rode the ride, I had to laugh each time I saw a scene.
I don't know if I have the record for visiting Disney World, but I must be close.
It was just very clever how they could relate to the ride and yet tell a story. But I don't think knowing the ride has an effect on how one enjoys the movie. Both are entertaining.

No, for all the times I've been to Disney World I have never been to Disneyland.
We were out in LA when we were on Family Feud, but during that visit no one in the family went to Disneyland. I guess everyone opted to spend the two weeks we were there seeing LA, Carmel, San Francisco, museums and so forth. And the golfers had to see Pebble Beach. And some had to play. When family members went out to CA other times, they were just doing other things.
