well, if y'all get tired of hot, sticky, tornadic, tempestuous, rainy, flooded, hail infested, snowed in, frozen, weather,
THEN COME OUT TO CALI AND PARTY WITH THE SUKKAFUS!
we get no snow, 11 inches of rain this year, 330 days of sunshine, 70 degrees, no tornadoes, no hurricanes, low humidity, san diego gets no earthquakes, and you can listen to the tempts on the beach, in the mountains, on a lake, or wherever- all within an hour.
remember that will smith song on 'big willie style'- he says what i'm saying- '' y'all know how it is- that's right you don't- just don't say nothin' ''...

Sukka...does the San Diego Union still print in the top corner of the front page of the paper how many days in a row. That used to crack me up.

I am glad you are okay, Ivory. I would have been scared senseless (not gonna use the word you just used ;D) if a tornado would have been so close to me. There was a tornado warning from about 7:30 until 8:45 here, but nothing happened.

Sukka, here's another photo for you to show the kiddies. If it's not one thing, it's another. My mother took this one, today (they live in another city) Now, WHY they were DRIVING around in that mess is beyond me!!!

it looks too wet to mow the grass! we had steady drizzle the last few days which is unusual for this time of year, but we got a combined total of 1/8th of an inch ! not exactly wet enough to make mud pies!

i just saw the news on msnbc- 104 people were injured in oklahoma city today by tornadoes in rush hour downtown! the GM plant was completely destroyed, but God was with the 3000 folks there and only 2 truckers got hurt.
i saw an old e mail you sent me in nov 11th - 6 months ago when 33 people were hurt in wartburg tenn.
ELEVEN INCHES! IN A WEEK! WE HAVE THAT THIS ENTIRE YEAR AND THEY'RE HAPPY THAT IT'S OUR BEST RAINFALL IN 7 YRS!

what an awful week on one hand for folks, and a blessed week for other folks!
129 people were sucked out of a cargo plane that 's 30 yrs old and not with seats and seat belts. in the congo no less!
2000 homes destroyed in oklahoma city area. 104 injured.
floods and disastrous tornadoes in kansas, ok, tenn, etc.
so many more people could've died. God was quite merciful. i believe that we should be truly thankful for the multitude of lives spared. pray for those who have lost their homes and possessions.
i'm so glad my ivory and her family are doing fine!
