well, the sixers got knicked by the knicks in a tight game with out having van horn and coleman. the nets also lost, and MICHAEL JORDAN won't be in the playoffs for the end of his career as the bucks won to go to the playoffs.
the blazers lost, so that means the lakers are in 4th place! jazz won and the suns won,, so sonics and warriors are both eliminated.
kings won, and dallas lost again! what a collapse by the mavs! spurs won their 11th straight game!
pacers and detroit both lost, so orlando and new orleans both crept up.
we are down to the wire! east west ------- --------- nets spurs sixers kings celtics mavs magic lakers pistons blazers pacers wolves hornets jazz bucks suns

well, the sixers are not one of the top 2 teams in the east, but they still have a shot like everybody else- if they get van horn and coleman healthy in time!
san antonio just clinched home court throughout the playoffs. dallas may end up playing the lakers and losing in the 1st round!
the surprising hot hornets are winning like crazy- watch out nets, pistons, pacers, sixers, celtics, magic, bucks!

Why is there no mention of the Lakers losing to the Blazers Sunday night? ;D

because it wasn't an important game. blazers are on the down, and hauling a desperate shot at the buzzer in your own home court doesn't exactly build your case that you beat the world champions. let's see how they do if they face the lakers in the playoffs.
the lakers have swept them in the playoffs- yes- swept- in the last several years in a row. a regular season game with no significance for the lakers doesn't warrant mention. 101-99, blazers! hooray for portland!
they're thinking of starting a new division of the nba for the jailblazers called the cfa- convicted felons of america! for the rest of the league, it's the nba=national baby abandoners!

Right... but you report everyone else's losses. I thought a win was a win. My fault. But if the Lakers had won, we'd have been hearing about how they can't be stopped, right? The unbeatable champions... What does that have to do with their play on the court?

seemingly everything as rasheed wallace was averaging 20 points per game before all his troubles and 13 points per game since. he had an awful game other than the buzzer beater . the trailblazers have one of the most talent filled lineups in the nba with a deep bench but so many of them get involved in police action that the team has gone through incredible underachieving for the last few years. when clyde drexler and terry porter and kevin duckworth and clifford robinson were on the team in the early 90's -they were classy and a good focused bunch. damon stoudamire, scotty pippen, rasheed wallace, ruben patterson, zach randolph were all arrested for either drugs, weapons, spousal abuse, and patterson and randolph had a slugfest in practice. are you going to tell me that doesn't take away from their focus? the blazers should be 65-17 instead of 49-33. everytime they get a groove going, the extracurricular activities get them off track. wallace has led the nba in technicals and ejections in the last few yrs. how does that help your team?

All right. I'll concede that it may take focus away from the team. BUT they have done well despite those things. Truthfully, I don't pay much attention to those details outside of court. Not my business. I thought that that stuff was past seasons. I didn't know it was happening now, too.
And even though they do what they do on their own time, why does that mean we should resort to name-calling?
They've been to the playoffs as long as I've been paying attention to them. Jerry Sloan has more technicals than any coach in NBA history, I believe. How come nobody talks about him?
You won't attribute that to perhaps his taking less shots and passing more? Anything other than than those things makes more sense, huh?

Why is there no mention of the Lakers losing to the Blazers Sunday night? ;D LOL, IRLM I read that article, and yeah, Blazers have got in a lot of trouble. Maybe that's why they're the Blazers, always getting blazed. Anywho, a win isn't decided by what the team does off the court. It's what they do on the court that goes down in the record book. (Unless you're talking bout a criminal record ;D) But Jailblazers or whatever you wanna call them, they still won. Sukka, what was up with the Lakers? Were they just not in the rhythm of things or what?

That Philly/Hornets game last night was beautiful- for Allen Iverson. And for me too since he's one of my favorite players. He was on fire from the sound of the first buzzer! And call him ball hog or whatever, but at least he was doing something with it! And yeah, towards the end, I got the feeling he was just trynna beat his old playoff record, asking for the ball every possession they got. But it was a good game for my man Iverson. I know Mike's happy bout that!

Oh no! Chris Webber's strained his back. He's one of the key players on the KIngs and it just happens that he gets injured during playoffs. This doesn't help. Well, now's just an opportunity for more guys on that team to step up to the plate in Webber's absence. ::calm down Angel::
