Blazers lost??? They're still playing. Unless you were talking about the other night. Crucial game for the Blazers tonight. If Mavs win it tonight, it's over. But Portland's playing with energy this first half. I think Orlando needs one more win too, and it'll be over for the Pistons.

Allen Iverson scored 45 points, including Philadelphia's final six, as the 76ers moved on to the Eastern Conference semi-finals with a 107-103 win over the New Orleans Hornets in NBA playoff action on Friday. Thank you, thank you, thank you. The infamous owners George Shinn and Ray Woolridge are through for the season. Charlotte stand up and cheer!!!!

sixers power! full steam ahead!
detroit spoiled orlando's party by tying up the series 3-3 with game 7 in detroit sunday.
portland is trying to be the first team ever to go from 3-0 in a playoff series to winning it. they defeated dallas for the 3rd straight time, and game 7 is sunday in dallas. dallas has all the pressure on them as nobody expected the blazers to win, especially with the jailblazer controversy, and derek anderson and scottie pippen on the sidelines.however, portland's talented team is finally jelling at the right time-so game 7 should be fantastic.
don't you just love the playoffs?

My main concern is this: Who will the Kings be playing?
I didn't like this 7 game first round setup. this year. It was too long. Maybe I'm just too used to last year. But I guess it's better for the teams- gives those that are losing more opportunities to get back in

the kings will play the winner of the dallas-portland series, which is tied at 3-3 with game 7 in dallas on sunday. should be a battle because portland wants to be the first team in sports history to come back from a 3-0 deficit to win a 7 game series. they will have to beat dallas in reunion arena with a noisy mavs crowd and dallas will do everything not to be embarrassed after blowing having the best record in the nba to dropping to 3rd place in the playoffs. dallas is hurting and the pressure's on them. nobody picked the blazers with all their internal problems.

well, blazers had the lead into the 4th quarter and lost to dallas. mavs were almost completely embarrassed. i think the kings will kill them. lakers will have their hands full with the spurs. the pistons came back and beat orlando. they will play the sixers. the nets will play the celtics. the playoffs are heating up!

after 2 embarrassing losses in san antonio, the lakers regrouped and kicked their butt- 110-95.
now it's 2-1 san antonio.
celtics are choking as ABA'S nj nets are one win away from going to the eastern conference finals.
sixers need to win tomorrow in philly- they lost 2 games to detroit.
KINGS LOST BIG YESTERDAY- they lost to dallas by 22 points, but worse- THEY LOST CHRIS WEBBER FOR THE REST OF THE PLAYOFFS WITH A TORN KNEE LIGAMENT!

Poor C-Webb; tore his meniscus. Charles Barkley was saying last night, "Let me tell you something. I tore my meniscus... I was back in two weeks." He said Chris Webber could do it, too. "Kings can't win without Chris Webber," he says.
Then Alonzo Mourning said that of course no player wants to sit out the playoffs but if he comes back before that thing completely heals, he's running the risk of greater injury, and of course management doesn't want that.
We need C-Webb. That's all I have to say.
