today's players are bigger, faster, stronger-you can thank steroids, growth hormones, sports medicine and
technology. they are not smarter, they are less educated, less classy and more selfish.
loyalty in sports is a rare thing.
the agents are almost more important than the players.

I took pride in my abilities SS, but these guys today are so gifted athletically and those who play my position are all 7ft tall. I'm sure I'd find a way to compete but it would be a challenge.  The NBA made over 4 billion dollars last year and most of that money comes from TV and Merchandise, not from you and me going to the game. So we are at the mercy of the tv folks to live with time game time starts and the fluff they choose to put on as well as who they get to broadcast it. |

Mike, as I said earlier, I heard Ball of Confusion! On ESPN they were taliin' bout how Garnett's trophy looked like a big $8 band award from a yard sale. Sometimes I think some games could be set up. Not only NBA games but the NFL too. And you're right, soulstirrer, basketbal is entertaining, especially All-Start Week. You get to see the best play against the best, which I love. And alot of your favorites on the same team is something you don't see everyday so its fun to watch (to me).

the only thing is there's an author called richard grayson who writes quite amusing witty stories. dick is short for richard -maybe you're him! you have that witty style like him especially when you were doing your eos cd # 4 and 5 bit!
or maybe you're someone else in disguise.

Actually this is the reason I had to post as Guest for so long. I finally had to appropiate my friend's e-mail addy as a lark! It worked, so I've left it alone.(Lazy!) I've got too many addys as is, so I've used his, figuring I wouldn't get any mail. WRONG!
He calls me every so often to tell me if I've gotten mail; after our esteemed administrator e-mailed me, I think it's time to change it. I just don't know if my addled mind can remember another one, though?
Who am I? What am I? I rely on the kindness of strangers... Halp
