Well D-Baby, I'm sure this won't help but, I won't know what grades I got until January 16. That means I will be scared silly over break.
But truly, I sympathize with you. When I left undergraduate for law school, I left behind so many friends, but me and the little clique keep in touch as best we can, and I keep my friends in my prayers. That helps a lot.

I know how you feel Dbaby. When my best friend moved away a couple of years ago it felt like a part of me was gone. We still talk almost everyday(you should see our phone bill! , but it's not the same as having her here and being able to see her.

When I moved to Greece, I lost contact with most of my friends, and when one of my best friends moved to Alabama, we lost contact. And now that I've moved back here, I miss my overseas friends. So I k now exactly how you feel, DBaby.

this board is so cool because i feel we connect sometimes more frequently than with friends and family- which i feel is how we've become anyway. one of the few positives of the internet is the free phone calls, the posting pictures, the emails. it's not physical, but it helps take away the sting that snail mail doesn't.

You're right. My one other best friend in the world moved away the summer after 8th grade year and we talk all the time because of the internet. Oh Yahoo Messenger, you can choose these things called IMenvironments and you can have a snowy background or something when you talk to someone. And there's also this thing called doodle where you and your friend can draw pictures. You can actually SEE your friend drawing pictures and stuff and you can print them out and everything. Sail Mail rocks my world, but the internet is really what keeps a lot of people together.

Yeah see Dbaby, at least in this great world of ours you can stay connected through the net and on the phone and it gives you somewhere to take a vacation when time permits. If you're really good friends, you'll never be that far apart...it's only space!

Sorry Dbaby, hope you 2 keep in touch. I know you will. Well I'm somewhere on the other end of this whole moving issue. I'm always the one that moves! And sure, you make new friends but you always have to leave them!

LOL! I used to move around a lot. I moved from a little Texas town to Houston when I was 1. I moved to Colorado when I was 6 or 7. I lived in this one house and went to this one school for a week. I moved to another house in the same town and went to another school for about a year and a half. Then I moved to ANOTHER house here and went the rest of elementry school there, but I moved to another house during that time and stayed at the same school. But I'm still at THAT house, so this house must have done SOMETHING right!
